We rode in our first Mardi Gras parade with our Jeep club, and the girls had a blast. It's different being on the throwing side instead of the catching side.

The Ricoh GR has the sharpest lens I've ever used.

Tail section of a Douglas DC-3 - first flown in the mid-1930s and many are still flying. This is the old logo of the now-defunct Eastern Air Line.

to this 16 year old young lady. Long story leading to an emotional decision last spring resulting in her opting out of athletics/soccer for this year. She changed her mind as soccer season grew closer and went to the Athletic Director asking to be reinstated in the program. He, and the soccer coach agreed on one condition...she run 500 halos...a drill given out as the "penalty" for an aggression...usually a maximum of 100. With the help of her teammates running with her in support, she completed the "punishment" and was back on the field last night for her first game of the season. Adults and friends went to bat for her and she didn't let them down. I admire her; not many 16 year old young ladies would have put themselves through that "torture" to get back on the team. (And she had a GREAT game!)
