Fall in Texas means county fairs. What better way to kick one off than with a parade!

I finally got to put the Nikon D500 DX camera to its intended use during a preseason AHL game last weekend. The camera paired with a Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII lens worked flawlessly. The higher frames per second (10 to be exact) helped me to capture images like this one.

Season opener for the Syracuse Crunch is tomorrow night and I'll be shooting hockey until next April and hopefully beyond!
