** Picture of the Day 3 **

That's an incredible (and not very common) shot! Very nicely done! Did the crowds do you a favor by stopping? We have been going in September the last few years and the line moves to quickly for me, resulting in a frantic scramble to get the camera packed away before boarding. Would you mind sharing your settings for this one?

Very nice capture. You get 5 stars from me :thumbsup2

Allen, stunning sunset!!! Love the effect of the silhouette of the bridge with the people on it :)

Thanks! Taken with my NEX-7 and Rokinon 8mm fisheye. The line was moving slow enough that I was able to place the camera on top of the fence. The small size and weight of the camera came in handy. I took a few more shots but this is my favorite.

For some reason I can't edit my last post - forgot the setting for the RRRC shot.

Settings - f/8, 1600 ISO, 1/20 sec, AWB

Thank you. The Rokinon is not a very big lens compared to my others so I am going to give that one my best shot next trip, courtesy of your inspiration :)

I am suitably impressed with the quality of the images from the NEX!! Think my D7000 body is going to be a bit more trick to pack away quickly based on past experience but I'm going to give it a go

Thank you for the settings :)

You'll have fun with the fisheye just because you're never quite completely sure what it will look like until after you take the picture. I threw out many shots that I thought were going to be great and kept many that I almost decided not to take. :)

good luck with it!

I am enjoying my NEX 7. I had the NEX 3 first (still have it) and they are so easy to carry around in the parks. If Nikon can make a mirrorless version of their DSLRs it would be a homerun. Have fun on your trip!

Love the lion!! Wow! :thumbsup2

Awesome Splash Mountain ShadeRF :thumbsup2

Here's the same (more or less) shot I took last week, taken again a bit later in the day this past weekend with the lights turned on. It looks so different
