Does anyone have a picture showing the a/c unit at POFQ?
Or if someone is going soon, can you take a picture?

Thanks.

It's like the ones you see in Holiday Inns and chain motels like that.

This is kind of an unusual question (I don't know why it matters what the AC unit looks like), but here you go. The AC unit is right below the window (thats my DSis's camera bag sitting on top of it).

The time we stayed there, back in '05, they were adjustable.

Are the a/c units self setting or disney controled?:confused3
You are able to control both temperature and fan speed. And, these units are also heaters (you occasionally need heat in January). Unfortunately, they are also a little bit noisy.

We just got back yesterday and we didn't find the a/c noisy at all!! And I'm a pretty light sleeper.

Ours was noisy. This was one of the few things that were not up to par. After several nights of loud vibrate-the-whole-room and sit-us-straight-up-in-bed noises whenever the compressor went off, maintenance finally came and "repaired" it. They did get rid of those noises, but we ended up with a continuously loud fan noise. I'm sure it should have been quieter. But at least continuous noise was easier to sleep through than sudden loud compressor-kicking-off noise we had originally. I guess if we had been a little more pushy, we could have had maintenance come back again.

Deb, that's why I prefer the central air at CSR.

I visited your CSR site. Very nice! Pepper Market was on my list of counter service restaurants to try but we never made it there. I think the reason we did not consider CSR was the size of the resort -- it is VERY large! But your pictures and write-ups make it sound very appealing. Perhaps if we ever go again, I will make it a point to be sure to get to Pepper Market so we can see the resort. It sounds wonderful.

It was one of my factors for our decision to stay at CSR ( actually it was the kicker along with the busses not sharing with any other resort.)
