Here is a picture of DS in the apron and chefs hat from GAC. The apron was very large on him...

Where is grand adventures in cooking held? Is it strictly for kids? Cost? etc. I have an 8 year old DD who watches the food network constantly. I'm guessing she would love this program.

It is held at the Grand Floridian, you have to be at least 4 to participate, I can't remember the max age..but there were definately 2 girls that were about 10 w/my son. It lasts for about 1.5 - 2hours. The kids get to "make their apron etc. Then they do some cooking...or decorating in my sons case. They decorated cookies w/icing and sprinkles, etc. They then had to pass all of the cookies they made....the made 4 or 5 huge trays full..to guests and CM at the GF. They couldn't eat their cookies until they were done. I have heard that some make "worms in dirt" I make both at home w/DS as he loves helping me. He had a ball..and everytime we pass the GF, he says "Mommy..that's where I went to cooking class."

my kids did this last summer and had a great time. The pp is right, it is for ages 4-10. My kids made the dirt pudding and it took forever for them to hand it all out. It was a big group and I would guess they had over 200 of them. A lot of the GF guests kept looking at them like why would I take that from you. I understand the confusion but jeez, I got tired of the funny looks people were giving the kids.
