Pics With My New Nikon D90

I'm posting a couple of pics here for the very first time! I asked a month or so ago for some insight on using my lenses that I had with my N60 with the D90 if I were to purchase it. Well.....I purchased it! The lenses are compatible (although I am already thinking of upgrading to get a wide angle once I get some more money saved! lol). I've had fun learning a lot about my camera over the past few weeks (and still have LOTS more to learn, especially as this is my first foray into the digital photography world!). I also just figured out how to post pictures. So here are 2 of my best shots from this week. I hope you enjoy! Feel free to give me any feedback.....I want to continue to learn all I can. I am so impressed by all of the wonderful pics I've been seeing here!

Thanks! It's been a blast to play around with. I must say that with the digital I love getting instant feedback on my pics by being able to see them right away rather than waiting until the film is developed!

Looks like both of us have been using our D90 for the same things recently.

Hope you are having fun with it, I know I am. I can't wait until the weather here warms up and some flowers start to bloom so I can really test it out.

annnewjerz, beautiful shot! I, too, am looking forward to getting some outdoor flower shots....if it ever warms up! lol Expecting 3-5 more inches of snow here tonight. *sigh*
