Trying to figure out where we would really like to stay within OKW when we go in May. Last year we were in building 14 which was nice, but we're thinking of venturing further into the resort this time.

Two issues for us:

1) Conveniently located on bus route - which for me means either the last stop (like building 14 was) or next-to-last stop.

2) What is the pool like? We have only seen the main pool - we have 2 children (4 and 6) and will be travelling with sister-in-law and grandparents. Nice pool with lots of room to splash around in would be nice. Are there any pictures online of all of the pools at OKW - I've only found 1 pic of Turtle Pond and a few pics of the main pool.

TIA, Jeff

All the quiet pools are nice. Obviously not as big as the main pool, but good sized, and I htink they all have a hot tub with them.

We stayed in building 56 at the end of January(room #5615 to be exact)and it was a nicely located building...a short walk to the quiet pool and the bus stop.It was a long way from the Hospitality House/Conch Flats area though. If you want a private deck, I wouldn't recommend room 5615, as the deck is kind of on the corner, and is one of the most visible decks in the entire complex. It didn't bother DH and I...I am nosy by nature, so I liked to sit out there and watch everyone/everything going by!!!!The room itself was very nice.It was a one bedroom.

DaveH - You posted some great pictures of rooms at OKW. Do you have some of the pools and other areas (playgrounds, snack bars, etc)?

Shirley - Thanks for the link. There were a lot of pictures there, but...

I'm very much in search of pictures of the pool areas at OKW, *other* than the main pool. I'm hoping this will help me decide if I should put in a request for something that's not near Hospitality House.

Does anyone know if there are pictures of the 'quiet pool' areas at OKW posted on the internet somewhere?

TIA, Jeff

We love the South point area. That is buildings 53, 54, 55, and 56. The pool there has a great playground area and you are VERY close to the bus stop. South Point is the second stop on the way in. It is also right where the walkway to DTD starts.
