Hi, someone asked me for a pic of my scraproom, here it is so far- it is constantly changing and updating, but this is how it is for now! LOL I have 1 8ft. table and 1 6ft table in there, (although the 6ft is currently being used to work on my other business - soapmaking, as we have lots of fall shows coming up!) and me and my dd (5) are sharing the 8ft.. She likes to stamp/scrap with mommy! :thumbsup2 I need to buy some more pegboard for more stamp sets that i don't currently have room for to put up.. And i am going to redo the room probably later this winter (when i am home more) to be more "disneyish", and to reflect my love of Cindy's castle and Tink!! :wizard:

Hey you cleaned your room!!!! WOW!!!!! It looks like Great!!!! :) Hee! Hee!
:rotfl:

By the way??? What happend to all my stuff?? Oh yea! I took it home...
:woohoo:

Is that why your room is clean :rotfl:

Thank you for posting those :) DH is just in AWE of how much STUFF I have - it's so nice to show him all these scrap rooms that I am looking at for inspiration while designing mine...he sees that it is perfectly normal to have as much as I do LOL! Thanks again - looks great! What do you find works best for you and what doesn't work that you're going to change? What's your best organization tip for keeping things accessible? :)

I LOVE my pegboard and slatwall!! I am one of those people that needs to see everything or i won't use it. So, cute totes, and drawers don't do it for me! LOL I am planning on basically lining my whole room with pegboard this winter, and that way, i can hang everything (including my stampin' up sets- as seen) so i can view it all.. I also use a nail polish display for all my loose stamps, it is tierd so everything is viewable..

What a great room you have. :thumbsup2

I actually like the wall color. I think it would go good with Tink stuff. :teeth:

Great room. DH finished my cabinet a few weeks ago. We bought an unfinshed and stained it ourselves. It has three shelves (big enough to hold 12X12 books )and then two doors underneath that has two more shelves
Just what I wanted to hide stuff.

I really want to paint this room lime green and purple but havent confinced DH of it.....yet ;)

Thats what i want.. more of a lime green! Mine right now, is more of a light sage. It's just "off" from the tink green.. and i want to paint my pegboards purple. I am thinking i may just do that first, then see if it works with the current green.. I just cringe at the thought of emptying my whole room to paint!! LOL Mabye i can make it work!

Can you post a close up of the board that your ribbons are on? :) Where did you get that? It looks like something from a retail store. Thanks!

Ha!! Yes, it is slatwall, like they use in retail stores.. But, then again, i own a retail store (a gift shop, not a sb store!), LOL. So, i used an extra piece from my store that was left over!

It isn't hung up yet, it's just propped up there, but i am going to be hanging it on the wall.

A few years ago, DH and I renovated a room that was to be our DS's bedroom. I took him to pick out the paint and he chose, you guessed it, lime green! I couldn't complain too much, as we DID tell him that the color was up to him. Besides, it didn't look too bad- the spot on the lid wasn't too bright. When I rolled the first bit on the wall, I looked at DH and said, "This looks really bright. Do you think we're making a mistake?" He tells me no, it's wet, it will be better once dry, etc...So we proceed to paint the room. I kid you not, that room GLOWED! We waited for it to dry. No difference. His room is right off the living room and if the door was opened, there was this funky green cast in the living room! We called his room the radioactive room! :rotfl: After about a week, I couldn't take it anymore and we took him to pick out another color- this time he chose a nice blue. So do be careful if you decide to go with lime green. :)

LOL, thanks!! I kinda know what you mean though, my dd picked a pink for her playroom, it was from the Disney collection at Home Depot, i think it was "Princess pink" or something.. Anyway, man, that room is PINK!! And it is right at the end of the hallway on the first floor, and gets LOTS of sun, so during the day,, when you look down the hall, it is like the pink is "calling you!" LOL It cast's a pink glow! It is too funny.. but i don't mind..
Actually, her bedroom is 2 colors, (which is attached to her playrm) 2 walls are bright purple, and two are HOT fushia.. like lipstick pink!! But, i can't complain, as I AM the one who chose the colors for that ---- that room use to be my SCRAPBOOK room!! LOL And i stamped silver swirls on the walls!
(There is a pic of her "tink" room in the Home Interiors" board..

Ah, so you have an inside source LOL I was hoping I could get that at Home Depot or something, but probably not, huh? :( I love the wire shelving you have the ribbons on - that is exactly what I am looking for - something to line them up on that has something that will hold the ends of the ribbons so they don't unravel all the way. I have a ton of ribbons and need a good, workable storage solution. Did those wire shelves come from your store supply also, or did you (I hope) get those at a home improvement store or something? Sorry for being such a PITA!!

No, they don't sell these at home stores... But, i am SURE you could get some on Ebay.. Search for "slatwall accessories" or something.. The WONDERFUL thing about these, are that you can also use them in pegboad, which the DO sell at HD!!! LOL
