pics of Epcot, Boardwalk entrance

Robo,

Thanks so much! I had been wondering how to get to the Big River Grille from EPCOT so that really helps :thumbsup2

You're welcome.
Have a magical trip!

Robo,

Do you know what the "pavilions" were built for at the International Gateway? The structures right outside the turnstiles as you are walking towards the resorts.

Thanks, you are the best.

If you arrive to EPCOT for rope drop and are entering from the International Gateway, do you have to wait at the security gates until 9:00 a.m., or do they have the rope drop closer to Future World, i.e. in the U.K. and/or Canada area prior to 9:00.

Sometimes.

Right before the turnstiles is the International Gateway gift shop. As soon as you go through the turnstiles are the bathrooms and locker area. There is another covered open area and if I remember right, that used to be a bus drop off point. I know that have used it in the past for DVC gatherings at the holidays.
When you go through the turnstiles, the area to your left is the covered area for the boat launch to the resorts and DHS.

The shelter that is now used for "special event" bus loading (see map below) was originally used for TRAM loading for
a route that ran between Swan-Dolphin-Yacht-Beach before they built DHS & Boardwalk and added the Friendships.

This map shows more info on the pavilions at the Int'l. Gateway >

Two questions (a bit OT, sorry):

1. On Robo's maps of BW, if staying in a BWV Boardwalk view room, where would we likely be? I get confused on which areas are Inn and which are Villas.

2. Do you know if you have to fold up strollers on the Friendship or can they roll right on (given room) like the boat from MK to WL?

TIA!

1. I believe a boardwalk view room is facing the water, so you should be able to follow the path to get to the International Gateway.

2. No, we have never had to fold our stroller. You can leave it/sit with it in the back of the boat.
