I am sure there are others I will have to go back through our pictures some more.

One of the things that made me fall in love with Mac. My kiddos bday trip (my DD's bday) they asked if he could take a picture with him. He agreed and told them to make pirate faces.

Then DS gets another idea (trying to cut Mac's throat) ... and Mac plays along.

DD's favorite character hands down is the Madd Hatter. She loves Alice as well. The morning of her bday we found Alice and MH at the tea cups. She got this but we were hopeful to see him again later because DS was still at the room with my husband, and we did not have her autograph book with us. She was his first meet and greet of the day.

After the boys had gotten there we went to the barber shop and got a haircut and pixie dust. When we passed by the teacups MH was there again. We stopped and ended up being thier last meet and great before the parade. MH made a huge deal about it and DD's hair.

He asked me if we always let her wear her hair like this! And proceeded to talk to Alice about how busy she must have been while they were meeting new friends!

One of my favorite pictures. MH noticed me snapping away (I tend to take a million pictures) while he was signing and did this.

Alice had already signed our book while at breakfast at the Castle so she was rather dissapointed that she had nothing to sign. She did ask to look at DD's book and looked for her friends. She told Shelby how much she adored her "pictures".

What a fun thread! I have many more photos, but this is one of my favorites.

My friend took me, to what we later found out, was the very last sitting of the Mary Poppins Tea at the Disneyland Hotel in June of 2002. I loved the whole thing from beginning to end and you could tell "Mary" and her assistants did too. At the end of the tea, she commented how nice it had been to be able to share in so many happy occasions with so many different people, and then all of the little girls, their Moms, and one very brave Daddy who had headed up a Birthday Party for his daughter, lined up to get their photos taken with Mary. After just about everyone had gone, my friend and I chatted with her for a bit, telling her how much we enjoyed our day there and that we were sorry to see that something she obviously loved was coming to an end. I don't remember now what it was she said was going to take it's place, but it sounded nowhere nearly as nice as the tea parties and we told her so. She then insisted that we have our picture taken with her too, and judging by the smile on her face, I'd say our words of encouragement made her last day a little bit brighter. As she did ours!

I totally butchered this picture while 'learning' to scrapbook, plus my photography skills weren't that great back then. This is in EPCOT/Future World in '88.

I have a few...

DD, 9, was waiting for her appointment at BBB in her White Witch costume. Now this was her Halloween Costume, but she had wanted to wear it that night for MVMCP, she is getting too big for the Princess dresses (literally) No one EVER knows who she is, everyone there thought it was some sort of Cinderella dress EXCEPT for the Tremaine sisters. They were running through, I have no idea why, but one of them stopped, ran up to my daughter and said "Oh, your royal higness, Queen of Narnia, what a thrill! I wish I had time to get your autograph, us villians don't get enough attention. You don't know how I wish I had time to talk, but I have to go" and off she ran. It was hysterical!

That same night we were in line to meet Belle in her red dress for my two girls and the friends that were with us. Belle made the biggest fuss over them and asked them to gather in a circle. Then they proceeded to practice dancing, and then...

Beast took each one of them one at a time and waltzed with them, it was incredible, each of the four girls, including my youngest who is only 4, danced with the Beast. I can't believe she wasn't scared of him, he is huge!

I have a few...

Well, here's my first try at posting photos, so let's see what happens...

These were from a trip to MGM with my parents shortly after it opened (I want to say 1990 based on my hair fashion). Luckily I was old enough to not worry about being cool. Chip and Dale were sort of tucked back in an alleyway / gazebo (it was quite long ago I don't remember the details) and I ran over for a picture and got accosted by the two of them... I've seen similar behavior in other posts; it was very funny!

The next picture was during the parade. Apparently I was lucky to have somewhere to actually sit (I think I was leaning against a low post or something) and Jafar was tired from walking, so he came over and sat in my lap! Sorry it's so close - my dad was sitting right next to me, he was lucky to get the shot before Jafar walked away.

My last picture is slightly off topic, as it's a standard pose with Eeyore (my absolute FAVORITE!), but the funny part was after the picture (and I think I told him he was my favorite), he started following us toward the turnstiles. I gave him another hug and said "bye, eeyore!" and he kept following. I was torn between laughing and feeling SO BAD because my favorite character wanted to come home with me! It was really sweet... we got to the turnstiles and I had to be firm with him as any stray animal - "I'm sorry, Eeyore, but you HAVE to stay here for all the other people. And we don't have room for you in our car."

I have a "moment" but it is on video..

Back in 2000 my mom bought a shirt with Belle on it that says "I'm with Beast" (like the 'I'm with stupid' shirts.) Belle's pointing to the side...

On our trip this past summer, while at dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern, Goofy's doin' his thing with my daughters and my mom is filming all of it (she wore the shirt)....well, Goofy turns around and stops and stares at mom's shirt and points to it and turns and points at my father. We all fell over b/c we were laughing to hard. I had tears in my eyes. My daughters were looking at us like we were nuts. They didn't get the joke.

Moments like this and the pix you all are sharing, at least to me, make up the extra Disney Magic that you can't pay for or ask for.

We had about 20 mins til our early morning CRT ADR, so we got to spend a few mins at the EMH. First we got to hang out with Wendy, Peter Pan, Alice & Mad Hatter. Then we rode Dumbo and there was no one around so they let us ride twice in a row with Stich. My girls LOVED this!

Peter was making faces at Mad Hatter. Then my DDs were talking to Peter and Wendy when all of a sudden Mad Hatter came up and yelled "SQUIRREL!!!!!!!!!" They all ran over by the castle where he was pointing, it was hilarious!!

Got one got one!!! I just remembered this. It was 2003 MVMCP and Pooh and friends were all doing pictures in a group over by where the pooh playground now stands (in that temp spot they had set up) and the fireworks started and my son started to get upset. He was almost 3 at the time. Eeyore acted all afraid and fell to the ground as if to shelter himself from the fireworks and Tigger went to help him!

There have been a ton of great stories posted in the last few days! All of them have been hilarious, especially the Anastasia/White Witch one - !

That pic of Eeyore being scared during the fireworks reminded me of a story, too bad I don't have a pic of it. It was during my July 07 Disney Cruise and on Pirate Night they launch fireworks just after the Character Dance Party. Luckily I was near where all the characters were. While everyone is looking at the fireworks, the characters were being hilarious and nobody was watching them! Stitch, Chip, and Dale were making fun of Captain Hook while Goofy was scared to death of the fireworks . . . a CM kept assuring him "It's ok, Goofy, they're just fireworks!" Poor goof.
