Usually we get ours from either Blimpies or Tubbys...this time we tried a local place...called Bommaritos on Mack and 9 in St Clair Shores....it was really really good.....just a family owned Italian bakery here in the Shores.....we will definitely go back

Actually Mabel was PERFECT at the party on Saturday night.....we had about 35 people here...all adults...but we did get a little crazy...LOL!!! Anyway...I was so surprised how well behaved she was....not at all her norm!!! LOL!!! I have to have parties more often!!!

Mabel is gorgeous, her fur looks like silk. Ok, I'm going to be the dumb one of the bunch, but what breed is she? I lover her coloring.

That sub made me really hungry.

My dog does that sucking thing witrh a fuzzy bone. I read somewhere that it's a throwback to when they were puppies and had to suck and sort of knead the mother's teat to get the milk to flow. Apparently it's a comfort/relaxation thing for them.

Ted will lay there sucking and kneading that fuzzy bones for half an hour sometimes.

She is a Weimaraner....the "sesame street dog".....if you remember....also there is a famous photographer Wegman that does tons of photos of these dogs. This is my first one....big change from Babe, my bullmastiff....but I still love Mabel to death!!!

Mabel does the kneading thing with her paws as well when she sucks her "kee kee" as we call it...LOL!!! Or, should I say, as my kids called theirs when they were little.

Funny too....Mabel goes nuts with anyones pillows too!! You can't have one out or else she grabs it..."peels" back the pillow case and "goes to town" on the corner of the pillow!!!

I was just coming to post that too!! It's what caught my attention. Would've been funny to see that adorable puppy knawing on that giant sub !!!!!
