Pics from DD's Wedding... UPDATED, New pictures, post #21 and #58

More pictures! I loved the photographer my dd picked out. He did a wonderful job. When she told me about him I checked out his website and thought he was awesome.
But then she told me the price and I was having second thoughts because it would be a substantial % of the overall wedding costs.
But it was dd's decision because we gave her the dollar amount in the beginning that we would contribute to the wedding and anything they wanted over that they would have to provide.
I'm really glad she decided to put so much of the resources towards the photographer.

My beautiful niece Ella, AKA the flower girl:

DD had two other flower girls, also her cousins, that were younger and although they went up and down the aisle three times at the rehearsal they weren't quite up to it at the real event, LOL. Precious little ones that looked adorable in their dresses.

Each of the bouquets for the bridesmaids and the bride had a charm on them with the initial of their first name. The bride opted for the initial of her new last name:

Bride and Groom near the tower that nearly caused me a heart attack! It chimes every half hour and plays a song (like take me out to ball game) every hour. Didn't think about this until the night of the rehearsal! Managed to get someone from campus to turn those chimes off in time for the wedding...whew!

I'm so glad you posted the pictures! They are so well done. Just beautiful. Your DD is a beautiful bride. Lovely couple.

Thanks for sharing your DD (and family's) special day. :) :goodvibes

The pictures are beautiful and she and her husband look so happy!! YOu can tell they are very much in love.
I remember when you posted about their engagement. It didnt seem like it was that long ago

This was definitely a DIY wedding, we had so much help with everything from so many friends/family.

Jeafl: The wedding took place on the south lawn of Western Kentucky University's main campus. I think it's one of the loveliest spots on the campus.

Stitchfans: DD told us that renting a photo booth for the wedding was all the rage now so we looked into it for her. When we saw the cheapest price locally, $500 for 4 hours, dh decided he would rather build one and possibly rent it out later.
He bought the software from breeze.com (I think, if you're interested in the details I'll get them from dh) and he and my dad designed the booth itself and my dad built it.
Dh purchased a camera off of ebay for $50 that would work with the software (a 3.2 megapixil cannon elph, a few years old I'm sure) and we were in business.
We already owned the computer and printer we used although dh did purchase another monitor (off of ebay) for it because he wanted a 15" and ours were all bigger than that.
All told I think we spent about $400 on it.

TI double GGER: The cupcakes were great and homemade! A lot of cooks involved in that one too. One of my best friends baked the 250 cupcakes (we had white, chocolate, strawberry and lemon). Then my dh made fillings for them (white chocolate, cheesecake, white cream) and then two of dd's friends infused the cupcakes with the fillings (that was super easy, btw!). Another friend iced them and dd had purchased the purple roses and different sized gold balls (can't remember their real names, LOL). The only negative was they were supposed to have cut paper sleeves that weren't finished in time so we had to use the foil cups instead.

Orangeandwild: That pose was just for fun, that groomsman wasn't really proposing to the bridesmaid. The photographer had instructed them to strike a pose so each one was doing something they thought would be funny.

What a beautiful wedding! This is a style I think my DD would like. I love the idea of that charm initials on the bouquets.

On what campus was the wedding held?

Beautiful pictures! Looking at these, I would swear your daughter just married Prince Harry (or maybe the actor Paul Bettany)...the groom had a marked resemblance to both!

Beautiful wedding! I'd love to see more pics.

My dd will love this! She's a big Paul Bettany fan.
Only I'm sure she would tell me that Matt is better looking than either of those two men, at least by a smidgen, because they are definitely in the honeymoon stage right now and all I hear from her is how awesome Matt is, LOL.
