Picnic in the park

Hi, is picnic in the park included on the DDP? and any information about it would be great? is the food good? Thank you

Back last year Picnic in the park was turned to "seasonal". Not sure what that meant as most of last year it wasn't available.

Not sure what "season" it is offered, but don't count on it being available.

I do think you can get the sandwiches they served somewhere else in the park, hopefully someone can tell you where.

picnic in the park is now offered as a 'grab and go' option from beastly bazaar.
consists of sandwhiches, snacks etc. the hot pre-order menu was discontinued, but you still get the reusable bag that comes with paper plates etc.
Dont know if it is on the ddp or not, seems to be conflicting info on this when i search other sites. it was when we were there in 2009, but that may have changed.
we are planning to do this in may (providing its on ddp), and will report back.
there was another thread on this, and the diser said they tried it in Jan, and the sandwiches were very good and filling.

I believe you can get the sandwiches on DDP (they are available at Beastly Bazaar, one sandwich, drink and dessert for 1 credits. Don't know about a kids menu, there may not be one).

The previous version of the "picnic", where you pre-order and pick up later, there was an option for chicken (and in the really old days, an option to get ham), plus hot and cold sides, has not been offered at all after December 2009. There are no sides available anymore, although I do believe the grab and go offers chips. I really don't know if chips are included with your meal on DDP.
