Picnic in the Park?

We are going to the Animal Kingdom during the first week of March. Allears is reporting the Picnic in the Park is now seasonal, starting at the beginning of this year.

Has anyone tried to do this yet? I'm hoping it will be available when we go, but of course I have no idea of knowing what Disney means by "seasonal."

"Seasonal" in Disney-speak usually means in more crowded periods. In this case it might mean when they think the weather might be more cooperative for picnics. We don't know yet, because they've just switched it to a "seasonal" offering.
