Picnic Area?

I have heard people mention there is a picnic area outside the main gate of DL. I've never seen it, but I know it was on the map, just nothing detailed. Anyone know about this? How big is it? How many people do you think can go in there? Is it private, secluded (I've just never seen it, lol) or does it even exist?

I always hear it mentioned on the tram ride between the parking lot and DL but I've never seen it either. I'm too busy eating their food in the parks!

The picnic area is across from the lockers right outside the gates (on the left side when walking into the Park). I've not been inside it in years, but if I recall correctly it had quite a few tables.

Bumping this up - does anyone have more info on the picnic area? Is there a bbq? Electrical outlets for a crock pot? How many tables? Is there a grass area? Any photos?

It is basically picnic tables, soda pop machines, and lockers. Not a real picnic area like you find in a city park.
