Picky Eaters??

My DS17 is very, very picky. I was wondering if places, mainly WCC, would allow him to order off the kids menu? I looked at the menu and didnt see anything he would want to order. Alot of times he goes along with us and orders something either before we eat or after we eat from a different location.

I don't think it is an issue for an adult to order off the kids menu. I know a kid cannot order off the adult menu.

It shouldn't be a problem, but keep in mind that the kids' portions tend to be small ... ie. 4 chicken nuggets ... it might not satisfy a teen.

You may be better off showing him the menus of the restaurants ahead of time and having his input on SOME of the ADRs.

Incidentally, I'm a picky eater too and had no problems with the skillet at WCC. I ate just the brisket (don't eat off bones) and corn bread ... but my husband made up for me. They have a really good apple pie/cake dessert too!

Unless your on the dining plan a kid can order from the adult menu, my nephew has a large appetite and orders from the adult menus all the time without a problem.

DS also l7 can be picky and we learned than many places will vary the food to make it fit the person's wants. We have gotten plain steak, pasta with just sauce, chicken plain, fries instead of veggies plus I am sure other things. Some have reported getting adult servings of kid menu options. I know a 17 year old boy would not have enough from a kids meal

Thanks all....we will try and either ask to make menu items to his liking or order kids meal. He really doesnt eat much...still orders Happy Meals and is fine...plus he cant pass up all the good snacks in the park so I am not worried about him being hungry just want him to enjoy the meal with us. The kids loves his breakfast food so looking forward to CP ADR.
