Picky eaters at Nine Dragons & 'Ohana dinner?

I've got two kids who can be sort of picky eaters when it comes to trying new things. Does anyone know if there are "regular food" alternatives for children at Nine Dragons & 'Ohana for dinner? Like what?

Also, hubby doesn't like fruit (all fruit, except for strawberries in daquiris... :confused3) ... is 'Ohana going to be a problem for him? I know he loves Asian dishes, different meats and noodles and stuff (which is why I thought this would be nice to try), but is fruit flavor added to these items there? Is there a dessert other than the banana bread pudding for him?

Any advice greatly appreciated! I've got one week to finalize dining plans before making our ADRs for July! :goodvibes

We had our 6 yr old DGS with us a few weeks back and we had a great dinner at 'Ohana.
They did offer a children's alternative- I think it was chicken fingers? Sorry I don't recall because he didn't get it.
As for dessert, they automatically brought him a (large) dish of vanilla ice cream with colored sprinkles on it.

If it's chicken fingers, that will help with at least one of my boys. I wish both boys ate the same things! The one who doesn't usually eat chicken fingers might actually like the noodles though... he loves lo mein and spaghetti, so that's somewhat of an indication!

Maybe they can bring hubby the children's dessert as well!

I've only been to 'Ohana's so I can't comment on Nine Dragons but my Dad and I are both picky eaters and we managed to enjoy our dinner enough to book it again this trip. My dad is not a big fan of fruit either but there is a lot of choices that they bring out. Our favorite was the pork dumplings with all the different sauces. Disney is pretty flexible when it comes to picky eaters and we have never had a problem at any restaurant.

Thanks for the input. That's good to hear. I guess it's been so long since I've had such flexible service in a restaurant that I'm kinda concerned! Your comment is reassuring.

I believe 'Ohana will make a grilled cheese for kids (or anyone, really) as well. I don't think your DH will have a problem finding something to eat, there's a lot to choose from! & one of our family members didn't want the dessert, so we were brought about a zillion scoops of regular vanilla ice cream along with the regular dessert.

9 Dragons has kid friendly food. DS5 & DD3 ordered the noodles (and meat), but the Cm brought the Sweet N Sour chicken. She did us a big favor. The sauce is served on the side, so it was basically chicken nuggets and some veggies. HTH
