picky eater

DS is 3 and he's a very picky eater, as of now he will only eat chicken nuggets, we have an ADR at tusker house and it only corn dog nuggets. We are planning on buying him nuggets before we head over to tusker house, my question is, do we have to pay for him if he doesn't eat at the restaurant?

You will be charged at any type of set price restaurant such as a buffet, dinner show or family style meal even if someone in your party does not eat.

Tusker House has some picky eater type food. I wouldn't bother bringing in something since you are charged anyway. They have chicken nuggets, mac n cheese, type stuff for picky kids.

Yes. Everyone is charged at buffets and fixed price meals because there is no way to police everyone in the restaurant. Also, there are characters at Tusker House so you are paying for the opportunity to meet them.

I have extreme picky eaters, you will be fine. They have traditional kids offerings. We've never had a problem with any buffets at Disney, which is why we book them. That is except for Biergarten. Don't even get me started......

if you feel you must get chicken nuggets for your child I would it after you eat at Tusker House for 2 reasons. first afterwards you will know if there is anything child will eat since you will still have to pay for child even you bring in food. second you will have to carry from where ever you get the food without carryout containers on an open tray and if drink comes with no lid. that would be how we would do

thank you for the replies, DS is on the spectrum so nuggets are a must for him, if not he won't eat "/ but the interaction with the characters will be worth paying for him.

Yea I feel your pain - I've paid for a dessert party for my picky eater and he won't eat a thing. We're going to the dessert party at HS so it will be one expensive can of coke lol.
