Here is my situation...

My fiance and I are going to disney for our honeymoon for 2 weeks. We have never gotten the dining plan because it is a lot of food, especially when I am such a picky eater. Obviously since it is our honeymoon we are going to want to do some sit downs (I have NEVER done a sit down in Disney). Can anyone suggest some restaurants that have simple foods? I am a simple eater-chicken, steak, some pork... nothing weird or fancy. If I can find enough restaurants then I may look into the plan but it doesn't seem worth it when I could end up eating at places with no food for me.

TIA

Most of the disney buffet's have simple foods like :Cape May Cafe, 1900 Park Fare, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, and Trail's End
The only buffet to avoid is Boma.

California Grill as pretty "simple" food and it would be great for a honeymoon.
Whispering Canyon is also pretty "simple" but in a great atmosphere.

The disney "cafe's" have pretty simple meals too like:Grand Flordian Cafe, Olivia's Cafe, and Kona Cafe

Thank you? Are any of those sea food? Niether of us eat sea food. I have looked up the menus plenty of times but I am not doin so well with the keeping track. I am about to leave and go buy the UG book or something. (Any reason to NOT do school work :lmao: )

They all have a fair share of seaood but Cape May has a large seafood bar at dinner. But even if you don't eat seafood Cape May has a lot of food for dinner and a great dessert bar.

well I have found quite a bit that seem like places I would eat... now I have to decide if I actually want to plan. If we have to have all these reservations then we have to plan where we go when and how we get there. Which I am not sure I really want to do, especially when we would be eating at other resorts and having to get on a bus to a park then to the resort. Decisions decisions

My brother is a meat eater (occasionly chicken).

On the DDP, he still raves about Le Cellier. He also enjoyed Coral Reef , Hoop Dee Doo, and Ohana.

Remember that you can order your meal how you want it. For example, you said you liked plain chicken and steak. If you see something like a chicken breast but it's covered in some sort of weird sauce, just ask for it plain. Same thing with steak. My husband does that all the time. You can also substitute your side dishes quite liberally. If the restaurant has a kids menu, you can always get fries as a side.

I've been married to my husband for 27 years and I don't think he's ever ordered exactly from a meal as its been printed on the menu. Disney World is the best for preparing your meal how you like it.

Check out the menus at allearsnet.com...that should help you out :)
