Picky Eater - question

There are several TS places that have cheeseburgers on the LUNCH menu but not the dinner menu. Do you think they'll make a burger for dinner anyway - my DS is not likely to eat 99% of what's on the dinner menus and he is too old to order from the kids' menu. Don't flame me for my picky eater - I'm already embarrassed. I just want to know if we'll be able to get something for him to eat.

I believe in most cases, if they are able to make the food (ie they have the grill) they will accommodate special requests. So if they have it on their lunch menu, I'd wager you'd have no trouble getting it at dinner. My DS is a VERY picky eater and we were able to order french fries or fruit a few times when they weren't on the menu and yogurt when it was just on their breakfast menu. Also I think you CAN order off the child's menu, they'll just charge you more for it (and hopefully give you a larger portion).

I just learned on another thread that people have sucessfully ordered grilled cheese from most QS and TS places in the World. As long as they have a grill you can order it. This will make our next trip easier since I have two picky eaters who don't like the same things. So now DD will have something to eat at the few places DS will eat.

Adults can order from the childrens menu but if you pay with DDP credits, you will still be charged the adult credit. They may well make a slightly larger portion though.

You can still do it OOP but be prepared to pay if you want extra food on the plate.

There was a recent thread indicating that Le Cellier would not allow an "adult" to order off the kids menu. I have not been there so I can't confirm this for you but I think (may be mistaken) that the thread was on the Dining Plan board this week some time and the title was self explanatory so it should be easy to search.
