I'm so excited that we were able to get a breakfast reservation! The food looks delicious to me, but my 14 year old daughter is not going to like anything on the adult menu. Will they allow her to order an adult size portion off the children's menu? She'd like the scrambled eggs and bacon, but I also don't want her to be hungry.

Usually no for QS. TS restaurants can do it though. In addition to a child's meal she would still be able to beat off the pastry tray

When I was at BOG for breakfast, they were very, very strict with substitutions/changes. I ordered off the children's menu, and it was definitely not enough food. The pastries on the pastry tray were tiny, so don't rely on those to be filling.

Stay tuned for menu changes, though. Apparently the app is showing waffles on the menu; would she like that?

It does show waffles. Hmmmm... They are listed under both adults and kids, and there are other options too that aren't in the website menu. That is encouraging.

Well, I worried about that for nothing. Now that she's seen the menu, she can't decide if she wants the open face bacon and egg sandwich or the eggs florentine puff pastry. I can't believe she wants either one. Shows what I know!

I was worried about this with my niece and I both being picky, but she wants to eat breakfast there so badly and was excited when they extended it. Thrilled to hear about waffles!

The waffles in the past have been the gluten free alternative to the cronut.

Maybe they are adding "regular" waffles though

That would explain why they're showing up on the app menu which also lists the millet bread allergy alternatives, but not the regular menu on the site! Thanks for the information; I hadn't seen anything about waffles until someone posted app screenshots.

My 10 year old and I got the croissant donut (for her) and the scrambled eggs from the kids menu (for me) ... that, with the pastries they give you, was enough for me. And I can eat. :) I would just pre-order that ... I threw some of the pastries into a baggie for later too. Worst case, grab an extra snack somewhere for her, if it wasn't enough.
