When we went to Southern California in November, we visited DL/CA as well as Knotts Berry Farm, Sea World and the Zoo.
Something we noticed at all of the parks and have never seen at ANY park on the east coast was pickels! Yes, pickels! They were big ones (about 5+" and really plump), individually packed, in brine.
Being my DS 9 loves pickles, we got him one. $2.75! It was the softest, saltiest pickle we had ever tasted. It was horrible. What amazed me was that it seemed a standard thing to buy on carts! We saw them on Main Street in DL!
Is this really a Southern California thing? Why are they so salty? Is that normal?
Thanks...
