I'm anxious to hear how Tracy likes CSR. I am nervous that she will hate it. But I'm trying not to be too anxious in case she doesn't log on until this evening.

I was thinking about that too...Trac does say they're easy to please and wanted to try somwhere different...although they both loved the look of POR, maybe they can go over to visit - I liked the photos, but in person found it kind of boring and tacky, but then again I could enjoy myself at most any Disney resort.

Anyway, I have a feeling they will LOVE CSR...if they get a kind room that will be even better, but if not, at least the new rooms, queen beds..the resort is so pretty - how can they not like it...maybe mjot love it, but I bet they will enjoy it. If not, well, we all know that's the fun of trying differnt resorts.

I thought I'd hate GF and loved it. Geez, really never expected that one! I used to love CBR, so under why Tracy like it there so much...CSR is so much more like a lite deluxe and that gives it a bit extra, yes?

I was also thinking we might not hear from her until this evening or tomorrow morning. They will be hungry and may want to go to a park this evening.

I can't remember now - did they decide on the DDP? Which ADR's did they keep?

We're going to Disney!!!We were able to get the $96 rate for three nights at the beginning of our trip; so we'll do Disney for three nights and then go to Marco Island. Guess where we are staying???????

You are right Janet...I'll have to change my signature. I'll try to do it BEFORE Tracy lands so when she logs on we can see if she notices my new signature.

Actually, now I can release my news ....
I am going to Disney in Sept (WITH NO KIDS!) Long story short … I am going with my sis and our friend, who has never been to Disney!! Our friend has had a rough year, and I’m so glad she can come. We just decided about a week ago, but I decided not to tell all the pickles until Tracy was situated, not wanting to detract from our pickle president!

Because we are going in Sept. I really didn’t want Samantha missing a week of school (Paul cannot miss a week of HS), soooo, I asked her if it would be alright if I go without her, knowing that I promised her a family trip soon, so she said yes! She said, just to bring her back some pins, thank you. I will get a chance to do the Wine & Cheese festival, maybe Halloween (shhh, I won’t tell Samantha), but an adults trip will be so different! I feel guilty and elated at the same time! She says she happy I get to the the "wine" thing!! I have never done a trip before without the kids. I figure this is practice for our girls only trip, it will just get easier with practice right?

Anyway, if you can fit it in (and the timing is right), it would be great to have a DISmeet, would love to meet you in person (and Mark of course!). I will be there from 9/27 to 10/3.

Oh, finally!! I was hoping you might share your news today! I am so happy for you, Janet - it is going to be loads of fun!

I've been able to share the excitement for a few days...and I must say, I am rather proud of myself for keeping a couple of pickle secrets. I get so excited and it;s hard to keep a secret, but one down and one to go!!

It's way more fun this way too.

Big thunder and lots of rain here now, and one of those infamous severe T-storm warnings. I just hope it passes soon. Yesterday I had to go pick Tucker up at the bus stop instead of getting my afternoon nap.

ETA - just got a severe t'storm warning until 9 PM!!! OMGosh! I hate this weather! (for those not in NC..a severe T'storm warning here means, deadly lightening, winds in excess of 60 mph, possible tornados, and drenching rain...loads of fun. )
