We haven't eaten yet either. (9 o'clock here.) I have chicken alfredo cooling and garlic bread in the oven. YUM!! I would have rather had the Pizza Hut chicken alfredo, but don't have the extra $$$ this week to order it. That is my favorite!

Oh ugh. Well, I hope he feels better soon.

I had popcorn and now I am eating rainbow sorbet. Yum! And no, I'm not pregnant!!

AGAIN?!? Guess that means its coming my way. We had a doozie come through about 4:00... kept knocking out the power. Avery was watching the trees blowing and worried they would fall. I told her "Its OK if they fall this time, since they are blowing away from the house!" That is my worst fear with all my old oaks in my yard. The ground gets wet, and a good wind knocks them right over. Or tears branches out of my sweet gum... it loves to fling them at the trampoline!

Well, personally I don't care for the Dole Whips. But the Mickey Ears--just ask my youngest son--he could eat them 24/7. And I could do the same with the popcorn. There is NOTHING like Disney popcorn. It is just "Disney" popcorn and out of this world. Have a bucket for me, please??????????

I guess your Pizza Hut is like our Awful House! Pizza Hut is the biggest and most popular chain in NC. To get better pizza, you have to go to a gourmet place.

But, I guess that chain pizza doesn't hold up if you are used to Chicago deep dish!

I don't find it very salty at all...but nice and buttery. Try a bucket and if you don't like it, give it to Mark and then you can have a strawberry bar...those are really good too--DH loves them.

Now I know why we are such good friends!!

Keeping in line with being the oddball, I don't particularly care for Mickey Bars or Dole Whips. But what I do love is the strawberry style 'whips' you can get at the Enchanted Grove - it is opposite Cosmic Rays and the Tea Cups. There is a bathroom right next door(always good to know).

I just checked and the Enchanted Grove no longer serves that yummy treat So sad...

Check prices on area rentals, and then try to go through priceline to get a deal for the week.

Kari - Sorry to hear this; I've had strep 2x in my life - not pleasant, I thought I had been hit by a truck! Hope he's feeling better today.

It's always nice to get pampered. I've never had a pedicure in my life and have had maybe three or four manicures. (includes gel nails) I know. I am deprived. I've always done my own nails. It's therapeutic to me, but, haven't done so in a very very long time! (um....probably 10 years or more!)

BTW, I’ve had 2 pedicures in my life, I was hesitant about letting someone touch my feet (very ticklish) but it was heaven! I used to get my nails done years ago, when I worked in NYC – it’s very inexpensive there to get them done. Now, I just don’t make the time.

Can you say GIRL's TRIP??????

Looks like people were talkative yesterday. Sorry I had to leave so abruptly, works gets in the way sometimes, you know? I was out last night (visiting a friend who’s leaving for Portugal on Thursday and got back very late -- 12pm – I’m totally oblivious to time).

Trac – sugar is my bad vice also – and I love, love it in the form of chocolate!!

I’m obviously missing things in my life – never had a dole whip, or a strawberry whip, nor the popcorn in Disney. I’ve had however, the Mickey Bar!!

Well, not sure we'll try for that Christmas trip. The more I thought about it, I hate flying in "half way decent weather", I don't think there is any way I want to fly in December and risk a snowstorm; plus, we'd probably have to do a value and I'm sorry to those who like them, but I just can't do a value. So I guess we'll just wait until next year (hopefully).
