Picking up tickets and buying MagicBand at TTC; best order?

BF and I will be going to MK on Thursday evening for the start of our vacation, staying off-site. We bought our park tickets online, and we bought After Hours tickets with Will Call. Both of these are linked to us on my MDE account.

Before we go into the park, I want to buy a MagicBand for myself (it seems like Mickey's Gift Station at TTC would be the place to do that?). BF hasn't decided yet if he wants a MagicBand, but I expect that he'll want to save the money and just use the regular ticket. I might be able to sway him toward getting one if it'll make things easier for us.

So, my question is, if anyone can help me sort this out, what would be the most efficient way to get the MagicBand and tickets and get into the park? Should we go to the Guest Services, pick up our park tickets and our After Hours tickets, and then go to Mickey's Gift Station to buy my MagicBand and link it? Or would it be better to buy the MagicBand first?

Or am I just way overthinking this and it really doesn't matter? :) I'm just eager for us to get into the park ASAP to get the most we can out of the evening. Thanks for any advice!

I'm hesitant to second guess Robo's advice but if they are both already linked to your MDE, I'm not sure you need to actually pick up the physical tickets if you plan to just use a magic band (possibly reason for your bf to get one it would save a stop and whatever wait you might encounter there). I just don't know if there's a reason you'd need the after hours ticket/pass in hand I'm not sure if they link the same as a regular ticket.

My response is based on the posted issue that the second person may not/does not want a MB.

Of course, I didn't mean to imply your advice was incorrect for the question she was asking. :-)

Just thinking if her main goal is the quickest way into the park that buying that second Magic band and skipping the ticket pick up might be best. My hesitation was whether or not she could use the after hour ticket without picking it up since I'm not sure how that ticket works.
