Has anyone done this before? I'm picking up quite a few for my group and I know I need the signed waivers, packet pick up authorization form and a copy of the runner's drivers licence. Anything else?

Also, do they keep the copy of the driver's license?

Thanks so much!

That's about it. I think to speed things up I would staple the necessary waiver, pickup authorization and copy of DL together. Put the waiver on top becuse that is what they are focussed on.

Oh, you will need your ID also....

Depending on their times(and bib #'s), you could be standing in many lines to get their packets. Bring your lunch!

Ugh, really? Thanks so much for the heads up for planning purposes!

I have 10 packets total to pick up:

7 for the 5k and 3 for the 1/2 Marathon all with different bib numbers!

I appreciate you letting me know!

Either go stand in line pre-opening (about 45 minutes before the published open time) or go around 2:30 and you will be better off.

You know that since most of your packets are 5k you can let these guys pick up their own on race day, assuming that you are not picking up a no-show's package.

From the final instructions for the 5k...

LATE PACKET PICK-UP
For those who cannot attend Packet Pick-Up on Thursday, late packet
pick-up will be available on race morning from 5:45 a.m. – 6:45 a.m. in
the Explore Parking Lot at Epcot®. Please remember to bring your photo
ID

If it were me, I would have the troop pick up their own....

That is so nice of you. I picked up a packet for one person the last 2 years. Luckily my wife was with me so she went to his line while I went to mine (I was running Goofy and he was running the full). First one done went to get my 5k bib. If I had to wait in multiple lines I'd be a little bummed. I hope they buy you dinner or something :)

The first year I went there were no lines so it wouldn't have been an issue. Just depends on when you get there. Friday evening is NOT the time to go. Been there and will never do it again.

enjoy,
Duane

I will make sure to get to the Expo as early as the buses start running on Thursday.
We are going with a large group of family and friends for Marathon weekend to run for a charity organization. I'm going down a day early specifically to be able to do this for everyone. Not looking for anything special, just maybe some Disney pixie dust! I'm so excited that we will all be together, that I don't mind. Just glad to know it will take some time and put my patience hat on!
