Since you're going during the busiest week of the year, there's very little chance that you'll get into TS restaurants without a reservation. WDW restaurants do not hold tables for walk-ups, if they're fully booked, they'll simply turn you away. And especially at that time of year, most restaurants, especially in the theme parks, will be fully booked well ahead of time. You may have difficulty making reservations even now.

Here are the menus for most WDW restaurants, both CS and TS, to help you choose:

WDW Dining

Call for reservations, tomorrow if possible, or use the online dining reservation system. The character meals and popular restaurants are probably booked by now, but you may still find availability at off times.

I would very seriously try the online booking system and see what you can get. It's going to be very busy at that time and the counter service places will be a nightmare as well. The more obscure places at the resorts will be your best bets. Try Kona Cafe, The Wave, etc.

You may be only able to get resort ressies at this point, as everyone else stated - I would get ressies as soon as you can or you may be eating take-out pizza in your room every night.

Thanks for the ideas..

I've never done anything but counter services at the values and we always have a car - we are driving this time to save on the airfare... plus the car rentals that week were off the charts, so I know that I can go and grab some rotisserie chickens, etc and we can eat on the balcony, etc..

I just thought that my daughter would love 1 or 2 sit downs within Disney since we've never done that before.

Just wanted some ideas of the best ones. :yay:

Crystal Palace and Tusker House Breakfast are good meals with lots of characters. Rainforest Cafe and TRex Cafe are noisy and the food (IMHO) is OK but overpriced, but kids really love the atmosphere. My favorite "secret" restaurant is the Plaza in the MK -- nothing fancy, no characters, but good old fashioned burgers, rueben and club sandwiches, and real milkshakes.

As others suggested, it may be hard to get reservations at that time of year, but if you're flexible with the times, you might get lucky. Once you figure out which days you're going to which park, call the dining reservation line and see what you can find.

The chances of you getting into restaurants with out ress normally is hard. But you are going the busiest time of the year. It going to be real hard. Good luck.
