Picking a Kindle cover

I got a Kindle 2 for Christmas. I need a cover to protect it in case it gets dropped. I went on Amazon and there are tons of them. I'm looking for one that is not BIG, not cumbersome. Maybe neoprene, maybe leather. When I hold it I don't want to be holding a "book", I'd rather it be just the like holding the Kindle. Did that make sense?

Can someone suggest a good cover for me? I hate not being able to go into a store and find one I like when there are so many out there:confused: TIA

I bought a neoprene one feeling the same as you, that I didn't want something bulky. Within 2 weeks I had a black spot on my screen where something bumped it. It doesn't affect my reading but it is annoying. I ended up sticking a piece of cardboard between the screen and case until I got the bulky and protective leather case. I got a nice m-edge one from Amazon, It looks kind of like a Dooney and Burke style. I guess my advice is if you are not going to haul it all over like i do, the neoprene will be fine. If you are looking to tote it in your purse or bag, go for protecting your investment and get something sturdy.

nearly all the leather covers fold back for reading. Some people like to do that and some people like to just remove the case entirely when they read.

Kindleboards.com has an entire accessories forum, you'll get lots of ideas there.
