Pick up our tickets

We are leaving in 8 days!!! So I have a question about how to pick up our park tickets. We bought them online and will be staying offsite. I guess we have to get real tickets, before we enter the parks like in WDW. Right now I only have a printed paper with a bar code. But where can we do that and would it be a good idea to do it the day before we actually are going to the parks? We are arriving on sunday but won't go to the parks before monday because of jetlag.

If you bought the tickets on the Disney website, you will just go to the turnstiles and show them your printed ticket with the barcode on it. They will then swap it on the spot for proper tickets.

Ok, that sounds easy.... Thanks :-)

Yep, you go straight to the turnstiles on Monday, the day you want to enter the parks. Keep in mind that if you go to the turnstiles on Sunday to get your tickets in advance, they will be activated and Sunday becomes Day One on your tickets.

The turnstiles are a super-fast process so there's no real benefit to getting the tickets in advance. However, if you really want your real tickets on Sunday - like maybe your kids want them for their lanyards - then you can take your papers w/ barcodes to the Ticket Booths outside the parks and they'll give you unactivated tickets (they activate the next day when you go through the turnstiles).

Thanks for answering, I think we will wait until Monday, when we enter the park anyway. I'm sure we'll be pretty tired on Sunday ;)

Thought I'd ask here for myself and others. If we have an Orbitz voucher, so we have to exchange that at the ticket booth, or do we go straight to the turnstiles?

If there's a barcode then you go to the gates. Otherwise you have to go to the ticket booth first.

We also have Orbitz tickets. I printed it out, and there is a small bar code, but it says it needs to be exchanged for a ticket at a Disney hotel desk or the park ticket booth with a photo ID. I plan to do it the day before.

Thanks. We're entering the parks on our arrival day (so we'll do that once we get checked in!)
