I want to know your 3 favorite character meals. They can be any meal of the day.

I have 4 Disney meals picked for a week-long stay at WDW and US/IOA. If I need to trim the budget, I'll have to cut back on character meals. We've done LTT and Donald's Breakfast in the past. This time I hope to go to Chef Mickey's breakfast, Garden Grill dinner, 1900 Park Fare breakfast and Hollywood & Vine lunch.

My kids love Chef Mickey's for dinner. We have never eaten a character breakfast anywhere so I can only give opinions on lunches and dinners. We had a great experience at the Garden Grill with an outstanding server. Crystal Palace is a must to see Pooh and friends for our two year old. We are going to try 1900 Park Fare this trip, although I have been reading many negative things posted about it lately. We are keeping our fingers crossed that it will be good!

We tried the Garden Grill on our last trip and LOVED it. The restaurant rotates and kept my 2 year old in his seat. Also, the booths are set up so you have more privacy. Meaning when you take pictures of your kids with the characters there isn't anyone else in the background. It's not a buffet - it's family style.

We also like Hollywood and Vine and usually go there for lunch.

Well...

1) Dining with Cinderella in the Castle

2) Breakfastasaurus with Donald at DAK

3) Crystal Palace with Pooh & friends

To be honest, that's all I can come up with

These three are our top favorites. We have had exceptional food , service and character interaction from all of them. The food was very fresh, hot and good.

We ate at Park Fair for breakfast in December, mostly based on all the positive reviews on these boards, and were surprisingly disappointed. Not that there was anything overtly bad about it, but lacking in variety, quality and character interaction given the price. The food was typical of other buffets and though they made omlettes to order they were dry and flavorless. We did not have children with us, so didn't care about characters ourselves, but witnessed many stressed families. They were trying to prolong the meal and entertain the kids while waiting, and waiting for the characters to arrive at their tables. Probably got them off to a very slow start that morning.

I love breakfast, but am having a very hard time justifying more than one character one for our upcoming trip in May as they are quite pricey now. Donalds in AK and H&V are still high on our list, so will consider one of those. For those who enjoy breakfast and don't need characers the buffet at Maya Grill at CSR is outstanding and quite a value at only around $11, including all beverages.

Garden Grill dinner is A#1!
