Pick one park to visit where you can't FP+

We are visiting with a group of 6. Some of us have leftover days from a previous trip, in 2000. But Disney says we all have to have the same number of park days in our package. We can add the extra traveler's days when we get there. But that means some will have one park day where we can't schedule Fast Passes till we get there. So which park would you choose?

Should I try calling again and see if another Cast Member knows how to do it? I tried using a AAA travel agent, hoping she might know a way, but the "Disney Expert" told me she would choose DS because they are tearing down Tower of Terror (and will be finished by the time we go) so FP+ won't be needed for that park.

Unless you are getting some kind of "deal" for your "package" (Free dining, etc.)
you don't need to purchase tickets as part of the deal at all, so the "everybody must have the same number of tickets" rule would not apply.

Please post much more specific info about your trip, if you need more suggestions.

Yea, I'm not impressed....

But even if we went with room only then tickets, they still cant add the old ones till we get there. Same dilemma. Have to visit a park with no FP ahead of time.

They're "tearing down Tower of Terror"? That's a new one.

I would suggest no FP+ for AK. The only headliners there are really the safari and Expedition Everest. You could plan on doing the safari at rope drop and even doing the single rider line on EE if everyone is over 7 years old and you can't get same day FP+ for EE once you get to the park.

I would also say AK. We've been able to add pretty much everything as additional FP there, so it's likely there will be availability the day you go.

Well, it's not quite as simple as it sounds.
By the time of the OP's trip, Rivers of Light (at DAK) may very well be the hardest-to-get FP at WDW.
Stay tuned.

I agree with everyone else that AK is the way to go. You can knock out the more popular attractions fairly easily, just by getting there at rope drop. Plus, once you have your tickets straightened out, I think you'd have a decent chance of being able to pick some FPs there, even with just a couple days notice. If they announce ROL will be open in time for your visit, & you really want to see it, you could always buy a dining package for it.

Yes, everyone is over 7. Youngest will be 26. And the trip isnt until September 10-16 2017. A long time out; just getting my ducks in a row. Didnt think of Rivers of Light...*sigh*.... Might just spring for equal tickets ahead for everyone, since the old tickets have an expiration of 2030. I'll save them!

I have two days leftover on a non-expiring paper ticket from 2004. I should have exchanged it for a hard ticket last time I visited in 2014. I understand your pain. I am buying tickets for both DD and I this time and will exchange the paper ticket for one that I can link to make FP+ reservation. However, I am not sure if the ticket has to be assigned to a specific person or can be exchanged for an adult ticket. If it has to be assigned to a specific person, I then need to decide to whom this ticket should assign. Bring your tickets with you and ask guest relations for the best option to deal with them to avoid future problems like this again.

Have fun planning!

Have a friend that went during the same week 2015. Crowds were like a 1-3 so you shouldn't have too hard of a time at any of the parks if they stay that way.
