Pick my Resort

Agreed. It's the price difference. Not sure it's worth $350 extra for Poky for such a quick trip. If it was equal, it'd be Poly.

FWIW, I use CR as my "quick trip" destination often. I LOVE CR, but not enough to spend a week there (the pool is the biggest nit which keeps us from wanting to stay longer). For quick trips, I don't like wasting a lot of time on transportation so CR is a decent choice in that regard.

Also, this doesn't sound like part of your plans, but being able to quickly boat over to WL is a nice benefit too. Artist's Point is a great dining spot for two and the new Geyser Point waterfront bar/grill looks amazing. Being able to quickly boat over there from CR can really expand your amenity base.

Good luck deciding!

If I weren't going to spend a lot of time at F&W or the parks in general I would want club level

Yes, good idea! That bar looks great.

As DVC, I'm only allowed to pool hop to GF when staying on points, right?

Correct, you must be using your membership to pool hop.
(But DVC members can't pool hop to Poly, Copper Creek, or BLT (so DVC can only hop to the main CR pool or GF anyway.)

My vote--Poly Garden. Have fun no matter what you decide! I will be at the World 3 weeks from today--Yipeeeee!!!

3-4 night stay week after next. Pricing shaking out like:

$1100 for CR Garden wing
$1450 for Poly garden
$1575 Beach Club Club level
$1650 GF Club Level ( outer building)

Pick for me, please (and tell me why)
GF CL - because it is so beautiful

We've stayed BC club level and regular and it's one of our faves. We've enjoyed Poly also but never stayed GF or CR. 2 adults only. 4 day trip. No park's really with exception of 11-5 or so one day at F&W. maybe will pop over to MK just to stroll around or try to rope drop AK to do FOP (I loved it a few weeks ago, husband hadn't seen any of Pandora yet). We plan to do 1 day F&W, 1 afternoon/evening Disney Springs. Want to hit up Trader Sams at Poly and do CA Grill brunch or maybe a CA Grill dinner. We've loved F&W for many years but last year just felt sort of "meh" about it. Planning on just a few hours there for booth tastings, some drinks and maybe a seminar. Possibility we'll want to go back another day if we love it again this year. Party for the Senses is our "thing" during F&W but none that early.

Mostly pool, dining and adult lounge focused.

Beach club, its more like a resort than the others and walking distance to epcot should you decide to go.

We love Sugar Loaf and the Grand Floridian. But we like other hotels too. It's great for breakfasts and a quick exit to the parks. The food was very good this past August. Your style of Disney sounds like the way my husband and I travel. Another poster suggested deluxe dining plan. For us that is way too much food especially during food and wine. We like doing out of pocket for dining. In 4 days there's no way we would eat 12 snacks. If you do want to do CR for brunch and trader sams at the poly the monorail is the way to go. One thing when we were there August the monorail to Epcot was closed on our return which was kind of a pain. If your going to drink I'd uber to food and wine.
