I chose 1900 Park Fare b/c we have eaten there before. My kids really enjoyed the characters and the food was really good. I haven't eaten at the other places to comment but interested in seeing other responses.
My DH and I went for breakfast, no kids yet for us, but despite my stomach bug that trip, we still thought the food, atmosphere and characters were great!
Yachtsman Steakhouse -- We ate there in 6/02 for my parents-in-law's 40th anniversary. It was an atmosphere befitting such a grand occassion.
1900 Park Fare Dinner -- I'm doing this myself on my upcoming trip. I had breakfast here last August and loved it. I expect dinner to be great too. (Strawberry soup! ) I've been reading negative reviews of this meal lately, but I've rarely been disappointed in WDW buffets, so I'm giving it a shot.
California Grill and Flying Fish -- Picked these because if I were on DxlDDP, they'd be on my list.
Ohana is my personal favorite character meal. It wasn't nearly as busy as the other character meals we did, and the interaction was great. Stitch is so fun!
We really enjoyed California Grill and Narcoosees and plan to do both again on our next trip. Yachtman was also good, but not unique enough to merit a repeat for a while.
Kona dinner is DS's favorite and a must-do every trip now.
Ohana breakfast was good. The restaurant was sun filled and happy. The parade was the best part. I love Mickey in his island wear and Stich had a different prank for every table!
We strolled on the beach after and went to Sunset Point for photos!
