Please help me pick my desserts at the following restaurants we will be going to on our upcoming trip. .....

Heres the list:

Narcoossees
Jiko
Brown Derby
50's Prime Time
California Grill
Yak & Yeti
Wolfgang Pucks
Raglan Road
Tokyo Dining
Teppan Edo
Tutto Italia
Le Cellier
Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch)

The only 1 that I have some recent experience at for dessert is Raglan Road, so I can help there.

My 2 recommendations are Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding and Dunbrody Kiss. Everyone raves about Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding and I totally agree it is awesome. During my May trip, we decided to try something in addition to the bread and butter pudding so I decided to try the Dunbrody Kiss. If you love chocolate, definitely try this dessert! It isn't that large but it is so rich that you won't notice. It was awesome. Too bad I wasn't hungier because I couldn't finish it.

Narcoossees-Almond Crusted Cheesecake-best dessert in WDW!
Jiko haven't eaten here
Brown Derby -Double Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee
50's Prime Time-Brownie Sundae
California Grill-Valrhona Chocolate and Coffee -
Yak & Yeti-haven't eaten here

I haven't had it-I think I had green tea ice cream last time I was there and I thought the pudding sounded interesting since I didn't see the ice cream listed separately.

Ok, now I'm so hungry that I have to go make some dinner! :rotfl2:

Okay, one last thing-here's a pix of the cheesecake from Narcoossee's
cheesecake_395.jpg

That's whipped cream and cherries on the plate with it and the scene with Cindy and Prince is printed on sugar-totally edible-this was from last Sept.

I could go to Narcoossee's just for the Calamari appetizer, the Almond Cheesecake, and the view of Wishes alone. I wouldn't even need an entree! :rotfl2:

Here is the description from the DIS menus:

Dunbrody Kiss - Chef Dundon's gift to America. Chocolate, add chocolate, and then add some more. - $6.99

Now, I am not a food expert so please bear with me. It was a 1/2 sphere that kind of reminded me of a large chocolate truffle. It had a chocolate center that was very rich. The consistency of the center was soft but was more solid than a chocolate mousse. It then had a chocolate coating and them more chocolate. Gee you would think that I would remember better.

The first time I got the Pudding at RR (2006) the server said I got lucky because they ran out of larger cups-this is what I was served:cloud9:

What makes this so good is the sauces! That time we didn't have room for dessert so I took it back to the room for breakfast the next a.m. It was still really good.

Here's Dunbrody's Kiss

Also taken back to the room but didn't really hold up well. My DM did manage to eat all the chocolate off the plate before we packed it to go! :rotfl2:

Last year, we got smart-there were 3 adults in our group and my DD7, so the adults shared 2 appies, entrees, and desserts. Now we had room to eat while there. Here's what I got last year.

OMGoshhhhhhh! :hyper: What are you doing to me!?!? I can't believe how good those all look! I have to find some dessert....brb!!!!!!

We ate at Jiko for our honeymoon last October and were on the dining plan when it still included appetizer..... by dessert, I was so full and ordered the House-made Lemon Curd - (with pomegranate and blueberry compote, white chocolate biscotti and sour cream ice cream)..... I wanted something fairly lighter and this dessert was spectacular for me! Not too heavy and soooo refreshing if you like lemon! I wish I was more hungry to finish all of it! We are going back there for our 1-year anniversary this October and I will definitely order the Lemon Curd again!

Also, I heard 50s Primetime Cafe is one of the only places in the World you can get Smores as a dessert..... mmm, sounds delish to me!

narcoosees: almond crusted cheesecake!!
jiko: vanilla bean mousse
wolfgang puck: creme brulee - not sure it's there anymore
raglan road: ger's bread & butter pudding
teppan edo: chocolate ginger cake
tutto: mocha tiramisu
le cellier: plain chocolate mousse (not the moose) - was given it for my birthday
