Pick a tour, any tour - which one? (or 2)

I am getting REALLY excited about my upcoming solo trip :cool1: and I think there should be a tour involved, now I need to pick one, or two.

There are a few that I am interested in. Hidden Treasures at Epcot, I've always wanted to take this one. I am also thinking about the Segway tour. That would be LOTS of fun, but it's more money and shorter. Are they basically the same tour but one on foot and one on Segway?

I was also thinking about something at MK. Either KTTK or the new Milestone tour. That sounds like a good tour for such a small fee.

Choices, choices - such a tough one. :earboy2:

I've only been on the Segway tour, so can't really answer which one for you, but it was the most fun!!!!!! I don't think it would be similar to a traditional walking/talking guided tour, as there is not that much info shared about Epcot, but if you have the chance, riding a Segway is just awesome!!!!!! The first hour is instruction (inside a room in one of the Innoventions buildings) and the second hour is riding through World Showcase. Again, I can't emphasize enough how much fun this is!!!!!!

I've done the Dolphins In Depth tour and it was an unbelieveable experience. I can't say enough about it. Also did the KTTK tour in October and also loved it. Only bad part is since I'm such a fanatic, I already knew most of the information the guide told, but it was worth it to get to go into the Utilidors, into offices on Main Street, and behind the buildings to see how everything is done. Any tour you do though will probably be great.

We did KTTK a few years back and we did the Segway Tour a few weeks ago. Both were excellent and I highly recommend them both. The KTTK gives you lots of insider info about the MK, includes lunch (sandwich, chips, etc.) and you get a nice commemorative pin. The Segway Tour is shorter, there isn't as much insider info about the WS as there is info about the MK during the KTTK Tour, but it is great to cruise around on a Human Transporter, and you get a real nice pin with this one too. Have fun choosing!
I almost forgot, we got a 15% discount on the Segway Tour using our AAA membership. That knocked it down to $68 each from $80. A bargain at twice the price! ;)

I'm doing a solo trip about the same time you are--will be there May 14th-21st. I already have three tours booked. (Sunday, May 15th--Sedgeway Tour), (Monday, May 16th--Backstage Safari), and (Wednesday, May 18th--KTTK). I can't wait. I was told the Sedgeway tour especially books up early and they only take ten people. Maybe I'll see you on one of them.

I guess you know that if you have an Annual Pass you can get 15% off each tour. I got the Sedgeway for $68.00, the Backstage Safari for $55.25, and KTTK for $49.30.

Keys to the Kingdom is awesome and very fun! I loved doing it solo last October and I met some really nice people.

...IF....I could only do two...they would both be SEGWAY!!!

Segway and Keys to the Kingdom.
Both are on my list, though I've done neither.
If you do either I'd like to hear your opinion. :teeth:

Great advice everyone! It sounds like that Segway tour is very popular and LOTS of fun! Maybe I'll do Epcot tours, the Segway and Hidden Treasures tours. Hhmmm... it's a tough choice. KTTK sounds great too, and I can always fit in the Mickey's Milestones tour. I think I need to look at what my budget is for these tours and then call and see if any of them are available!

Did Hidden Treasures many years ago and loved it. Did the Segway last May and loved that as well. You can't go wrong with either tour in my opinion.

Some of the other tours we've done and enjoyed:

Dolphins in Depth and Behind the Steam Trains - both of them were great fun.

I have the premium package .How do i book a tour if i get a voucher with the package which i pick up at the hotel desk. I think i can go on as many i like.

We just recently did KTTK on Feb 2 and enjoyed it :) In september we are planning on doing one of the tours @ AK. Anyone been on the AK tour???

Signed up for the KTTK (May 18th) and Segway (May 12). Glad to hear such great reviews! I'm definitely excited! ::MickeyMo
