Pick-a-Pearl question

When I was in Maui in March the Pearl Factory cart had a Mickey ears pendant. I couldn't pass that up...just have to have the pearl which was at home set on it.

My daughter did the pick-a-pearl last week. It was 19.95 per oyster and the cheapest, basic setting in yellow gold was 19.95. Pretty much just a loop that attached to the pearl. There was another for 29.9 that was a tiny flower then the loop for the chain. She chose the turtle which is on the website and it cost 69 dollars. She got a silver chain for 11 dollars. The stand is across from the Churro cart. mmm... churros.... oh I digress. I believe the nearest big store was the Lego store. Another person before us only bought the pearl and they drilled it for her before she left. HTH!

ARGH!! I have a gold pearl and diamond ring hubby bought me years and years ago.... the pearl broke and I took it to a jeweller to get fixed. They replaced the pearl and it cost me about $60. that pearl just came off and I lost it a couple of years later.... It never even occured to me, after having passed that stand so many times, to bring the ring there, and pick a pearl for $20!! I bet they would even drill it and maybe even set it for me too!! Next trip for sure...I have to remember!! We Did this pick a pearl many years ago in Hawaii... it is a lot of fun!
on a side note, last July for our anniversary, hubby bought me really beautiful pearl earrings from the jewellery store on main street. they are gold shaped like Mickey heads with the pearl being mickey's head...the ears are gold... they are really beautiful.

Oh I bet they would reset it for you, at the very least they will drill it for you.
