I read in a fb group that pick a pearl is no longer in downtown disney? Is this true? I just bought a pearl cage to use with my pearl.

There is a Mie Jewelry pick a pearl at Redondo Beach Pier. Not sure about Sta Monica Pier, but Redondo Beach would be closer if someone wants to get a pearl, and there are nice restaurants there, too.

Pearl Factory, the company that was in DTD is also in Sea World, San Francisco, WDW, Vegas and some other places. They also sell pearls online, including one in a can to mimic pick-a-pearl.

I recently inherited a necklace that needs to be restrung. I'm thinking of putting 1 pearl in a pendant because it would be worn more often than a full set of pearls. Maybe you can acquire a pearl for your cage that way.

You may actually find those pick a pearl cans at the airport. I just saw them at a Fla airport ( not mco) So perhaps u could ck at mco?
I loved the whole procedure they did at the store in Epcot!

There's also a pretty good churro place at the Redondo Pier. My resident churro connoisseurs think they give DL's churros a run for their money.
