Hi All ~ If you could only do 3 character meals, what would they be? Thanks for helping me narrow things down...S

Hi we have only done 2 in past trips. They were Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. Chef Mickey's was my favorite! We will be doing several this trip though since we got in on the free dining! Have a great time!

The three I would choose would be (in this order):

1) Cinderella's Royal Table
2) Chef Mickey's
3) Garden Grill Restaurant in "The Land"

These are the one's I have BEEN to... and had great time at all three, so I can only offer "hearsay" on any others! Good luck choosing!

If you have little princesses, Cinderella's Royal Table and the Princess Storybook Breakfast are a lot of fun ( I don't know anything about lunch at the Castle or Lunch/Dinner at Akershus). We (dh, me, ds-almost 7 and dd-5 1/2) really like Crystal Palace (Pooh and friends). Breakfastosaurus was not a big hit with us, but I think we're going to give it another try in December. It sounds like lots of kids love Chef Mickey's. I am hoping to try 1900 Park Fare in December too. DS and DH liked the O'hana's breakfast.

To answer your question, *our* must-do's are probably CRT and CP. Are there any characters you/your kids really want to eat with? Are you lookiing for resort meals or park meals?

:) Michele

I would pick (in this order)

1. Chef Mickey's
2. Cinderella's Royal Table
3. Crystal Palace

Have fun planning!!!!!!!!

This is the order I would rank them

1. Chef Mickeys - fun fun fun
2. Crystal Palace - the breakfast food here was really good for a buffet
3. Cinderella's Royal Table - this is probably last for us because we only had a 7yo boy when we went  No excitement over princesses here. We now have a 8mo little girl so maybe in a few years this would be my #1 choice !

Hi ~ We have done just about all the character meals during past trips. The cost is HUGE. So this trip I hoped to keep it to three. It's hard to narrow it down! We have done CRT three times, it has become a tradition. I think the ice-cream social at Garden Grill is great. I am so confused! S

Our choices would be

Donald's Restarauntsosaurus Breakfast :jumping1:

Crystal Palace Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner :cheer2:

Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner a must :thewave:

Happy Dining!!

Chef Mickey's - dinner
Cinderella's Royal Table - Breakfast
Crystal Palace - any meal

Have fun.

Chef Mickey's, Mickey and friends
Crystal Palace, Pooh and friends
Cinderella's Royal Table or Princess meal at Norway (if you have princess fans)

A group of us will be part of a 400+ scrapbookers crop weekend at the Contemporary in August. Last year we did Chef Mickeys. Which character dinner would be convenient for us to attend from the Contemporary without entering any of the parks?

Thanks,
Kathi

Grand Floridian has 1900 park fare breafast and I believe other ones for lunch and dinner are there as wel.

Ohana's has a character breakfast. Polynesian

1) Garden Grill at Epcot's Future World has a very healthy lunch including salad stuff and veggies grown there in the pavilion, and it's a rotating restaurant so you get a cool view of The Land too.
2) Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom is a big, sunny and bright place with a great reputation for character interaction and it's open all day, so pretty flexible.
3) Donald's Breakfastosaurus in Animal Kingdom is the only place to meet Donald at a character meal and it has cool "dig site" decor - nice place for a late breakfast.

Liberty Tree Tavern at MK is a close runner-up. I've also heard great things about Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare and breakfast at Ohana.

CP
Breakfastasaurus
CRT

We have boys. You didn't say who would be enjoying the meals and that would make a difference for me.

Depending on which characters you prefer and what is your priority (food or characters):

I just came back and had a wonderful time at LTT and I'm not even a huge fan of Minnie, C&D, Pluto or Goofy. The characters were lively, and rotate often.

Also went to CP and I LOOOOVE Pooh but the characters rotate really slowly, so a lot of time you will have to sit awhile before you get all of them.

If there is a specific character you want to see, your waiter/waitress can put a picture of the character on a stand on your table and that character will come around. We did that at CP. S

Chef Mickey's for breakfast or dinner

Cinderella's Castle for breakfast

and either LTT for dinner or Crystal Palace for lunch

It really depends on your party -- ages, interests, etc. For food, CP breakfast and 1900 dinner can't be beat.

I'm going to go to Chef Mickey's for dinner. Does anyone have suggestions or comments on Mickey's Backyard BBQ? :confused3
