If you only had money to do 2 meals during your week at DW, which ones would you do? Imagine you had a 4.5 year old DD and an allergic to dairy and eggs 2 year old DD (who so far, does not sit very well at restaurants).

Crystal Palace and Chef Mickeys. Be sure to note the allergies on the reservation.

Biergarten ( kids can get up and dance to band) and Crystal Palace. And as stated above, let them know about the allergies.

Chef Mickey's is a must for our family. We also love Akershus but may not appeal to your family unless your DD is into princesses. The breakfast food is great. :lovestruc

The HDDR is great fun. We loved it. Our 6 year old fell asleep at every other dinner ADR we had, but at HDDR he was having a great time and couldn't stop laughing.

Buffets are good for impatient children who want their food right away.
We loved Crystal Palace for a late breakfast. The server encouraged us to staay as long as we wanted. The characters came around more than anywhere else we ate.
Chef Mickey's food wasn't as good and characters/servers weren't either. On the other hand, no one will care if your youngest is antsy. It's like a party atmosphere. I would like to try Tusker House on our next trip rather than Chef Mickey's.
We liked HDDR but our kids LOVE fried chicken.
We liked the food at Garden Grill and the characters were good, too.
We liked eating in the castle and I think your son would like it. Our 5 year old was so cute holding his sword & star and closing his eyes to make a wish during the wishing star ceremony.

I would definately do a crystal palace lunch or dinner not breakfast just because most breakfast items have dairy and egss in it.

Ohana's is a family favorite for us. There is entertainment for the kids and is casual atmosphere.

If you do want to do a breakfast that is cheaper Crystal Palace or Chef Mickeys are both good.

I would with some of the buffets, the character will keep the little ones entertained, some of our favorites are Cape May Clambake @ Beach Club, characters for breakfast not dinner, they can also draw on the paperlined tablecloths, to this day it keeps my kids busy and they are 11 and 12.

Tusker House is a great breakfast buffet. My kids favorite.

Cinderellas Gala feast @ Grand Floridian great character interaction both breakfast and dinner.

This year Rainforest and Trex have been added to the dining plan, which if they have never seen, they both are very cool inside.

If I could only do 2 TS with kids that age, I'd go for atmosphere over food. I would do one of the 3 princess meals (Cinderella's Royal Table, Princess Storybook @ Akershus - World Showcase, or 1900 Park Fare @ Grand Floridian.) For CRT or PSB, I'd do lunch or dinner. At 1900 PF, you'd have to do dinner to see Cinderella, Prince Charming, Step Mother, & Step Sisters.

For the other meal, I'd also do a character meal. That one I would choose based on the characters your girls like best. Chef Mickey's is probably the most fun & chaotic. An antsy child wouldn't even be noticed there. ;) You won't get the best food, but it may be worth it for the atmosphere. Garden Grill in Epcot has great character interaction.

Crystal Palace and Chef Mickeys. Be sure to note the allergies on the reservation.

But that's the under three year old who isn't paying to dine. Would they offer a non-allergic meal to someone who isn't paying? The OP might have to pay for that meal.

As much as we love WDW we would stay home. I could not last for an entire week on only two meals.:rotfl2:

I have to vote for our 2 Family Traditions...
