Hi-
I'm hoping someone can help me with this choice. I only have one TS left to choose, so what is a better option for Boma (breakfast or dinner). TIA to all.

I haven't been to breakfast there yet, but the reviews are fantastic, so I'm looking forward to it. I had dinner there, I thought it was only okay. Frankly, I was expecting a little better. Admittedly, I am not a fan of buffet dinners, though I love buffet breakfasts, so I'd always choose breakfast.

Wow, thats a hard one.

We will be having breakfast there in September, but did dinner in February and it was amazing! For our first time there we chose to have dinner and were so glad that we did. Although I have heard great things about both.

Did dinner and loved it. It was different, but I went in with an open mind and was pretty happy that I tried it. Went to see breakfast and didn't look too out of the ordinary so we didn't try it. I was very happy with dinner, but i think you'd be happy with either.

WOW! That's a tough call. We've been to both and love them. I guess if I had to choose, I'd pick dinner, because then we could make rope drop at a park.

I think that the food choices at all the breakfast buffets are the same except for one or two items. Therefore, if I had to pick one meal at a particular place, I would pick the dinner.

We've done both.

Dinner would be my easy choice because breakfast is, well, breakfast.

We've done both and love both. But breakfast blew us away - not your standard breakfast buffet. It was so good. I think my dd (6) drank a whole carafe of the juice herself.

We enjoy breakfast there much more than dinner. They are both really good though, so either way you can't go wrong.

We did both in Oct so there are a lot of pics in my link but the dinner didnt wow us at all...we didint like all the vanilla and cinnamony flavors in the food. We have done breakfast there a lot and the food is awesome! Just 5 more weeks from today I can chow down at Boma breakfast again!

We alwayd love the b'fast buffett! However, I will say that we always do this on a "slow" day. We go usually b/w 9-10 am and don't eat again until dinner. It's very relaxing and the kids love it. I don't typically make ADR's for b'fast otherwise so we can make RD... but really love Boma.. We are trying dinner here as well this trip:thumbsup2

You didn't indicate if you'd been there yet, by the nature of the question I'm going to assume you have had neither meal yet. We really loved dinner there so I tried breakfast there in Feb. Once again a phenomenal meal. I would suggest trying dinner first. It is a much broader buffet including an amazing array of soups on the soup pod. I just think Boma dinner has more character and is a better first impression of this dynamic eating venue.

We have done both also and have enjoyed both, but I think we preferred Boma's breakfast a bit better. The spread is remarkable, and I thought the crowd wasn't so bad for breakfast. Either way, you will make a great decision! :thumbsup2

Good luck and have a blast! :hippie:

To me it depends whether you'll be eating at any of the other African restaurants (Jiko, Sanaa, Tusker House). We'll be eating at both Jiko and Sanaa, so we're going with breakfast at Boma. But if we weren't eating any other African food, we'd go with dinner at Boma.

Two words -

Zebra Domes! :woohoo: So I picked dinner.

We haven't done breakfast, but it gets rave reviews from everyone I know who has been. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Just a tip - if you find a dish you love, ask for the recipe! DH did this, and the server brought out a preprinted sheet with the recipe on it. Yummy!

and loved it. Our Server said the breakfast was more of a "normal" dining experience ie not as many African inspired foods, but still very good with an omlette station.

I think either one is a top knotch dining experience.

I vote dinner....not because breakfast was bad (it was one of the best breakfast buffets we have had @ Disney,) but because we were stuffed all day from wanting to try everything on the buffet!

It is a huge spread, so dinner (by its very nature,) allowed us to try many more types of foods whereas, at breakfast, we could not manage to eat everything we wanted.
