I was just watching the World news--ABC and they showed an Iraqi town (I missed which one) and they were showing some vehicles that the Iraqi's had loaded with explosives that had been sent towards the American tanks. Then they showed the inside of some abandon building and on the wall in one was a picture of the Manhattan skyline with the WTC standing there. Protesters keep saying there is no proof Saddam is connected to Osama but why would this be inside an Iraqi business?? It just made me feel again we are doing the right thing.

Deena, I saw the same news clip you did. When I saw that picture of the Twin Towers on the wall of that building, it just gave me the shivers. I viewed it as their way of boasting about what happened to America on 9/11. Sick, isn't it?

I would not use it as evidence of a connection between OBL and SB, but Iraqi's were celebrating the destruction of capitolism on 9/11. That is very sick and twisted. No matter what I thought about someone I disliked or views, I would not cheer when thousands of them were killed by a planned attack (and no one took responsibility for it).

On another note, I have a small tree in my front yard. I tied a yellow wide ribbon around the trunk and put over 100 small yellow bows around its branches to show my appreciation for the USA and UK Troops. I think our government and government allies along with their leaders are doing a great job.

Remember some Iraqis were supposedly dancing in the street right after 9/11? It doesn't mean they had anything to do with it, but they sure hate us enough to rejoice in our deaths.

Was it a picture of New York before the Trade Centers were bombed or a picture of the Trade Centers ablaze after the bombing or with the planes going into them?

Wow there must be a lot of these in Iraq. The one I saw was like a postcard picture--it showed the Manhattan skyline with the WTC but no planes.

Unfortunately that must be true. You also have Peter Arnett on Iraqi TV praising them for their hospitality. It makes you sick on your stomach.
