Beginning Sunday 2/6/05, PI will make a change in the way they charge for admissions. The regular one night admission will increase to $20.95 plus tax ($22.32) for all ages.

A new one night single club ticket will be introduced for $9.95 plus tax ($10.60). This ticket will allow admission to any single club at PI including Rock'n'Roll Beach Club, BET Soundstage Club, Mannequins Dance Palace, Motion or 8TRAX. NOTE: COMEDY WAREHOUSE AND THE ADVENTURER'S CLUB ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS TICKET.

Single club tickets will only be available for purchase at the PI Box Office and at DTD Guest Relations.

Thanks for the info, GO. Interesting that they are not including AC and CW in the one club ticket. :scratchin

Yeah, This has been in the works for a long time. I knew for sure that they were going to the one club ticket a week ago, via various sources, but I had a very good hint back when they changed the ticketing late summer'ish.

They re-worded the tickets to say "One day Pleasure Island Multi-Club." When they did that, It was just a matter of time. :)

Well, that just bites!

Raising the regular admission back to the previous level was pretty much a given (though I was hoping they'd go back to the previous gated method). And when I heard about the new one-club ticket I thought it was a great idea.

But not including the two most popular, most crowded clubs in the one-club ticket is just dumb. There are plenty of people who go to PI and spend the whoole night in AC or CW, and Disney is effectively telling these people that they MUST pay the full price instead of getting the discount that those who want to go to a dance club can get.

Just another symptom of Disney's corporate philosophy: "Wring every last penny out of each and every Guest for the least possible amount of effort and expense on our part. Who cares if they ever want to come back, as long as we get all their money now?"

Our trip isn't until October, but I think I'll looking into PI tickets at a discount broker while they are still available. Any ideas on which would have the best prices?

On the contrary, it's basic marketing principals. CW and AC have no problem filling the house most days as it is. Therefore there is little incentive for them to have to discount an admission ticket into those clubs. The idea of the lower price is to encourage more guests to visit the other clubs whose average attendance is much lower than AC and CW.

I only go to Adventurers and Comedy. (I'll tell you in advance if you were about to ask what you get for the $11. ticket,) everything else is just loud music (which I don't care for).

Furthermore if it is your first visit you should buy the full admission and see what is inside each club rather than buy the one club ticket and just guess.

If someone is in the area, They should stock up on the $18.06 tickets before they raise them back. :p

I'm under the assumption that the prices aren't in effect yet do to the first post, and I haven't talked to anyone at PI yet this weekend. :lol
