PI fireworks, can you see them from POFQ?

Arriving at POFQ next Thursday. Does Pleasure Island do fireworks nightly, if yes, at what time and can you see them from POFQ? TIA

That must be what we heard at midnight! I was asleep (well, not after the fireworks started) so I don't know whether you can see them. I only heard them one night of our 6 night stay, though.

As the previous poster said, you can hear them, but probably can't see them unless you were on the third floor of the building closest to DTD. Mrs. GG and I did see the the tops of the fireworks from Epcot by chance one night when we were on the boatride from POR back to POFQ. While at DTD one night we could see the "glow" from Wishes at MK on the horizon, but not any actual fireworks.

the fire works from PI are very low level (for fireworks that is) and last about 2 minutes, you won't really be missing anything.

Thanks for the info. We have always stayed deluxe and got used to seeing Wishes from the balcony or even Illuminations from the YC (high humidity made the smoke hang low and eventually we saw nothing but heard everything ) . As my older DD put it, well Mom, we won't be around the hotel any night but the first one anyway! Just thought that it might be nice to see. Although if it is at midnight I hope we don't hear it!

You can barely see the frieworks from Illuminations over the trees in certain spots at POFQ but PI fireworks cannot be seen or even heard as far as I remember.

They don't even last one minute. Timed them once at 26 seconds. They do extended shows for July 4th and New Years Eve.

I was gonna say, don't blink or you will miss them. They can't be more than 30 seconds long. Totally not worth trying to catch unless you just happen to be standing there.

ya, PI fireworks are very short and cheesy...after all the excitment and countdown. They used to have a longer, nicer display with confetti that would line the streets ankle high, but thats no longer going on either!

Not sure which ones we saw but in Dec we stayed in bld 7 3rd floor corner room and saw fireworks one evening. We were there for the MVMCP but I think the fireworks were from Epcot not certain though. We actually saw quite a few and it lasted for several minutes.

We saw the fireworks from PI when we were at POFQ. We were in building 2,
second floor, facing the river, and we caught the momentary show as were going back to our room on night. It was short, but nice.
