Physics help for teen DS??

My son is taking physics and in 11th grade. These science courses are a challenge for him, especially when there is no text book. He received a low test score, but came home with a paper to gain some extra points. Do you know where he can begin looking for answers to questions pertaining to uniformed motion? (not mathmatical/equation answers but explaination type answers needed)

You might have him look on the cliff notes, spark notes, and gradesaver (gradesaver.com) websites. Spark and cliff actually put out books that explain the different subjects, but if he needs answers tonight he should definitely check the websites.

Now I have to get on my soapbox...samething happens in our school district. WHAT'S WITH THE NO TEXTBOOK THING???? THAT DRIVES ME NUTS!!! What if a kid is sick for a few days? What if the kid just doesn't get it, and really would benefit from reading it too? I could go on and on with this topic, but I bet the OP (or others) don't want to hear me rant. (I am politely stepping down from the soapbox!)

Ugh----we found a decent website for him to search for some answers and understanding. I realize at his age I should really "butt out" of these situations but it does irritate me that there is no textbook to refer back to. He is admitting to thinking it would not be so difficult and he "should" have studied more... but he discussed some strategies to hopefully improve. All other subjects come so easy to him. We will see.

......oh how I miss those days when all I had to do was worry about changing diapers and buying formula.
