Hi

I really wanted to have my photo taken with one of the characters in their
20th anniversary clothing on my trip last June. Unfortunately I didn't manage to.

We're going back in September and wondered whether anyone had been able to get a photo opportunity with the characters in their 20th anniversary clothing?????

Thanks

We met the characters in 20th anniversary costumes last year when they got down from the character train by central plaza. I'm not sure if they are stopping this year - hope to find out soon! These photo opportunities were a bit of a scrum, best advice is to watch where the characters you want go to then stake out those areas before the train arrives.

I usually avoid the scrums but Mickey won't be in his 20th anniversary clothing next time I visit; so I may brave it! Great idea about staking out the area where the train arrives - thanks:thumbsup2

They were still doing this last week when we were there. But the scrums were worse than ever. We wanted to meet Daisy, but even after staking out our space we never got to! I hope you have more luck than we did! :goodvibes

Sorry to hear you didn't get to meet Daisy and thanks for confirming that they still do this. Hope you had a great time with mickey!:goodvibes

Sorry that you never got the photos you wanted.

When we had our photos taken we had a bit of a plan of action... We had seen the character train each day and noticed that the characters seemed to go and stand in the same places each time. We couldn't be bothered to be part of the "scrum" so didn't worry about a photo.

However, on our last day, we had time and when the train was announced we stood where the characters we wanted our photo with (Clarice and Mickey) and waited for them to, quite literally, walk to us.

Mickey was crowded instantly and we didn't think we would get close to him. As there were a lot of young children around we decided to step out of the crowd so that they could meet their idol, however Mickey saw us move away for the children and actually called us forward to have a quick photo with him. It was very sweet.
