If there is already a thread on this, sorry. I couldn't find one. My dh is setting up an area for me and wants ideas. Please help! Thanks all.

here's mine. I think my favourite part is the peg board. (saw it in one of the scrapping mags) maggie

Wow, Nicurn, what a great room!

Here's my space, it looks quite wimpy after Nicurn's, but it works for me!

i love to see peoples spaces. i don't have a room, i just have a little corner of my basement. it works for now.

and maggie i love that peg board idea!

I've got some photos somewhere that I will try to find and share later. I don't have a whole room either, but a large corner of our bedroom. We do have an unused, finished office in the basement, but I don't want to be that far away from the "action" when the kids are home. I can't imagine how much stuff I would have if I had a whole room!! Scary to think about!

Nicurn, your room is beautiful! I'm so envious.................P

Here is my corner of the basement. Sorry it is such a mess. I haven't unpacked from Friday's crop and I'm trying to finish a page.

The whole messy corner

I'm transitioning so no pic to share yet.

Don't let Maggie fool you, she digi scraps a lot now so her room doesn't get messy anymore. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

wow denise very nice. thanks for sharing.

Denise, how do you like the Crop in style cubes? My present desk is starting to bow due to too much weight from paper being stocked on it. Looking for replacement and thought of the crop in style idea.

I have to be honest & say how jealous I am that you have your own room for scrapping. I'm sure if I did, I wouldn't get to use it alone much b/c the little ones would come find me. LOL I have a scrapbook closet in the dining/computer room. So, I shouldn't complain b/c I have more than some who have to keep there stuff in their rolley carts. The rooma are beautiful. Enjoy!

I'm not Denise, but I have them too. I love mine. They fit perfect in my closet. My closet is actually an armour from IKEA. It has a vertical support in the middle that divides it into 2 sections. The one side I kept all the shelves. On the other, I stacked the cubes 3 high on top of each other. I alernated them between the left & right side & it gave me an addtional 4 inches of space next to each cube. That's the area I store my paper in. Our craft store has them & we can use 50% off coupon. The only word of caution: The ones w/ drawers that slide out should go on top b/c if not, the weight of the others makes it hard to open the drawers. My favorite is the one w/ two drawes & then a 12&12 canvas basket on top. I keep the theme I'm working on right now in there. That way when I'm not working, I can just close it up & its out of the way. But if I go to a crop, I just pull it out & take it w/ me.

Okay... I searched around and found my photos. They were taken this past February. I have changed things a bit since then. I have a new table. I was tired of straddling the leg on the gateleg table I was using. Plus the new table was a bit longer, so I eliminated the tall dresser to the right of my table. And I've done a bit of other re-arranging to fit the Cricut I got for Mother's Day! But essentially this is "MY" place. I'll describe as best I can what is where......

This is the overall corner view taken from my bed. (Essentially, this is what I see when I sit up in bed!)

This is a straight-on view of my work area. My bed is on the right and my tv cabinet is on the left. As you can see, I get some furry company while I am working!

These drawers and boxes are the majority of my storage. They are broken up by category and season, type, etc. I have drawers/boxes for Disney, punches, stamps, chipboard alphabets, rub-ons, etc, etc, etc. On the bottom shelves of the bookshelf I keep extra albums that I have bought on salet, etc. They come in handy for gifts, but most of them I just over-bought when I found a sale!

This is where I began. I originally had just this large 4 drawer unit that held all of my supplies!! Now it holds my overflow of cardstock (top drawer), patterned paper and 12" border stickers (second drawer), Disney papers and stickers (3rd drawer), and 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock and patterned paper (I have one ongoing gift album for my Dad that I do in that size). My Sizzix sits on top. I still use it almost as much as my Cricut, since I have so many alphabets and such for it.

The smaller drawer units on top contain more patterned paper, vellum, and my DD's scrap supplies.

This is to the left of my work table. My cardstock sits on top.... handy dandy next to my work space. My cardstock scrap drawer is the top drawer.... tools are in the second drawer (square and circle punches, anywhere punches, eyelet setters/hammer, extra cutting mats, embossing heat gun, etc.

Patterned paper scraps in the third drawer (plus 2 Sizzix alphabets that don't fit elsewhere) and Sizzix alphabets and dies in the bottom.

The rolling cart labeled "Trip Packets" contains packets with journals, receipts, etc. from trips that are not yet scrapped. During and after each trip I collect everything I might want to use when I scrap and put it in a binder/folder/envelope (whatever I have handy) and when I return home it is all together and ready for scrapping! On top of the cart I have my Xyron and some patterned paper, but I have recently rearranged and now my Cricut sits on top of that cart. My sewing machine sits on the floor under my table. On the wall I keep an odd-ball assortment of things that the kids have created for me! It is my "art gallery"! I love it all.

love digi scrapping! :) I still do all my crafty stuff in there though and the 2 new cats think it's a great place to hang out. :) maggie

wow pjilla that's a great spot. thanks for the pics. i enjoyed looking at them!

I just love my CIS cubes. I bought a couple of them years ago on ebay and they are awesome. Very good quality. Better than the jetmax ones. I recently bought 4 more due to my expanding collection. If I had the space I would buy even more. If I could design a room, I would get the desk and everything that goes along with them. I bought my most recent cubes at create for less. They had the best prices online.

I highly recommend them!:thumbsup2

Here's my craft room. We added on to the garage so finished out the attic at the same time. I love my room but rarely get a chance to use it. (The kids don't like me to go in there without them.) The furniture is Skandia, purchased at the container store during their shelving sale (25% off). And eventually there is going to be a custom craft table in the dormer window for Ian (and Sophia) so we can do "our own thing" together.

The wall color is "Pooh's Favorite Things" from Home Depot's Disney color palette.

RRBB, love the windows in your room. :thumbsup2

My scrapbooking room is tucked under the garage roof line. Not much space and only has a skylight.

robin, your room is awesome, makes me want to use our upstairs basement as the scraproom. :) (the room over the garage since we don't have an actual basement) maggie
