PHOTOS: Jan. 4-8 Magic 4-night

I have a question, Mel. Where are the napkins on your heads?

Great photos, as always. ::yes:: They really make me "homesick" for DCL.

While I was looking at your photos, DS came up and said, "Mom, it's been a long time since the Disney boat. When are we going back?" So, we decided to take a look at the Costa Maya cruises next year. We definitely want to book one, but won't be able to until this fall or winter, at the earliest. I just hope we don't wait ourselves out of our price range! :rolleyes1

Thanks for sharing your pictures of the cruise.

Thanks for posting. Glad to see that one of our compatriots from the 9/4 cruise was able to get on the Magic again. Hope we get to cruise with you guys some time in the future. Looks like a fun loving group and a great cruise.

Thanks for posting - We are sailing on the 4 day Dec 29 - Jan 2 so seeing the ship and the decorations etc is so exciting.

LOL! Andy and Hazel were teasing us, too. I was a hungry pregnant lady when we got to that meal and all I cared about was eating that bread! No bandana for me! Although we do have them here at home and EB put one on the other day. What a goofball! :earboy2:

BTW - I think you should book October 14 - 21, 2006. ;) Rhiannon told me that she has some things to teach Amelia next year! :p

We were so glad to get back on the ship, too! It was a last-minute decision, but it worked out very well. It was one of our best cruises yet! Still wish we could have met you and Chris, though!

The Christmas decorations were such a wonderful surprise! We really didn't expect to have them all still up when we got onboard. In fact, we've cruised this week before back in 2003 and the decorations were down when we got onboard. The pictures really don't do the decorations -- especially the atrium tree -- justice. Wait until you see them in person! You will not be disappointed! BON VOYAGE! :sunny:

Amelia! What a great princess name! princess:

I don't think you really want Rhiannon (AKA "Stitch") teaching her anything, though. :scared: LOL!

I wish we could book it right now, but we just can't swing the deposit. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. :hourglass

Wow! What beautiful pictures. The Castaway Cay shots are truly gorgeous. I have to ask, what kind of camera did you use? We just returned from a week in Nassau and I was sooo disappointed to see how badly our new digital camera shots turned out. They were all so dark. It was a fairly expensive Pentax "Optio" water resistant one, and I can't imagine taking a chance on using it for our November 05 DCL cruise.
Just curious - I have some time to learn how to use a new one, and I'd love to replace it this spring, even though it's new. Thanks for any suggestions! Melissa

Thank you so much! :flower: The pictures from the first album were taken with a Sony Mavica (2.1 MP) and the pictures from the second album were taken with my 35mm Olympus -- my favorite camera. We also have a few pictures left on a water camera that we have yet to get developed.
