Photos & Genie+ Question

Has anyone had success using the new photo filters that are available in the park? Are they only available at certain locations? I'm unclear, as the info provided was not very concise.

Any help would be appreciated.

I can access the new lenses in the app. Haven’t tried using them since I’m still at home, impatiently waiting for to get on a plane to DLR in a couple weeks.

The info I’ve read indicates some of the lenses are themed and location specific (I.e. Grogu lens only in Galaxy’s Edge), but others are not.

You have to update your app for the new lenses, and then there should be a tour of the new features which pops up.

You should be able to verify it now - once you’ve updated the app the home page should look like this one, with the lenses button on the top right of the menu.



When you click on the option you can see all the lenses, along with an indication of where it can be used, along with the “requires Genie +” indicator.
