PHOTOS FOR DAYS 1-5

Here's the boys clowning around at SAB on Day 1...

And some pics from our dinner that night at Chef Mickey's...Always fun here!

The next day at Cape May (2nd Day of Disney...) We had a great breakfast. Minnie was feeling her oats and got frisky with Evan...
3x5boardpiccapemay.jpg

And we got to see a BCV legend: Mr. Al E. Gator, in the BCV canal!
3x5boardpicgator2.jpg

On Day 3, we went to MGM, where we put our kids behind bars... or is it the other way around?
3x5boardpicmgmbars.jpg

It's always so bloomin' HOT in August. The kids beat the heat by sharing a Coke and a Smile!

A nice, relaxing boat ride back to BWV is welcomed by all...

And now an apology... Sorry, folks -- no Day 4 shots. That was our Blizzard Beach day, and I just don't feel like being responsible for our digital camera when there's so many slides to be "slid upon"! (And so little time...) And my little water proof Kodak disposable job went beserk and didn't take a single bloomin' shot. So nuthin' for Day 4. End of apology.

On Day 5, It's our Magic Kingdom day! (And also my/DH's 14th anniversary...) We head for the parks early that morning -- we have places to go, folks to see, breakfasts to be eaten!

Here's our "princess" headed for her "home"!

Caroline got to hold court with her favorite royalty...

3x5boardpicmkcaroaurora.jpg

And here's one of the 2 Cinderellas... the one on the right, of course, is just a "Cinderella-wanna-be"... We know who the REAL one is, after all. ;)

3x5boardpicmkcarocindy.jpg

MEANWHILE.... the "Non-Princess-Inclined" fellas were over at Pooh's "Palace" (i.e., Crystal) having a grand time!

Now just LOOK at this pic and tell me babies don't ENJOY Disney World!! Our nephew clearly thinks Tigger is TOPS!

a3x4poohbfast2.jpg

SIL and her son and mine try out the Dumbo ride... although I have no idea why she's flashing her room key at us. Go figure. Maybe that's her credit card and she's offering to buy me Dramamine afterwards (I really hate rides like this :crazy2: -- sorry, Dumbo!)

3x5boardpicmkdumbo.jpg

Over in ToonTown (or whatever it's called) we all got a little "Goofy" to the "Max"...
3x5boardpicmkgoofymax.jpg

Peter Pan tried to claim our kids and whisk 'em back to Neverland... Caroline didn't seem to balk at the idea, either!

DH and I sure do enjoy not installing appliances for a change that evening... although I had no idea I looked so beaten and sweaty! DH is forcing a smile, despite the music. That, or the smile is genuine because he just stole more of my steak and shrimp.

And that, my friends, brings us to Day 6 and a new thread. I tried to add the rest of my pics here -- but it's too much, thread can't take it. Looks like I'll just have to put it under a separate thread.

Peter Pan can be found near the exit to the PotC ride. As you pass the PoC and then the gift shop that adjoins it, there is, right before you head to the "main hub" and Castle, a restroom on the left (literally next door to the gift shop area). Here there is a rope cue. BIL and I were standing here, waiting on some of our party who had gone to the restroom. We were thinking : What the heck are these rope cues for... surely not the toilet? And then the next thing we knew, out came a CM from the shop area with Hook and Smee. Peter Pan followed soon after.

The only other place I have seen Peter is -- occasionally -- down in the little area at the very very end of ToonTown, near the train station. But this is sporadic and rare.

My dd and I noticed Peter at this same spot (the one at PotC) a few days later -- so it must be a 'regular" place for him now.

LOVED your pictures:D

That Cinderella wanna-be was awesome. We saw her once before and she spent almost 15 minutes talking to our son at our table. She was so sweet, nice to see she is still there.

Your children are beautiful:)

Great Photos! Can I ask what program did you use to edit your photos like that? I love that you put captions on them!

The Peter Pan is the same Peter we had; great Peter and awesome CM

Thanks so much for taking the time to write such an awesom report! I had a great time reading through each and every day (I'm almost felt like part of your family!)

Also, Great pics!

GREAT photos!!! I can't wait to go back...thanks for sharing!!!

Aw man! I was on the late bus and am just now reading your reports, and now I can't view the pictures. Do you have them somewhere else now that I can view them???

Sorry folks -- apparently the freebie spot that was hosting them kicked me out! :sad1: I am going to try to get the pics back up tonight in some way shape or fashion -- thanks for letting me know. I never get weary of looking at our vacation pics -- this gives me another reason to sort through 'em! :flower:

I did notice, however, that I never did post those Days 6-13. I'm a very bad DISer... mea culpa, and I'll see if I can reconcile that, too.

Oh I hope you can find a way to get them back up. I would love to see them. I've loved your reports so much that I read them when they first came out and now I'm reading them over again a few months later. You are a great writer. I print them out and read them at night. Feels like I'm reading a good book. :cool1: :cool1:
Thank You!!!!!

Thanks for fixing them!! I love seeing the pictures that go with the report! Your's are great and I love how you enhanced them! Now I'm off to find the rest of the days' pictures.

Thanks for sharing your photos with us! I really enjoy seeing everyone else's photos!

Uh, not so fast, I am but one woman, LOL! :p

In other words -- I don't have those ready yet... I think what I will do is update this thread with the extra pics once I have those uploaded and ready to share. I'll just change this title to "Days 1-13" and "UPDATED", in order to make it one-stop-shopping.

I should have those done tonight -- please bear with me!

FYI -- someone asked me what photo shop I use to do my titles, borders, etc. I have an old 2.1 megapixel Olympus camera, and I use Microsoft Picture It! publishing. I love my Olympus, but it's outdated -- time to step up to more pixels! The MS PI! software has its pros and cons, but I like it fairly well. I think software is a lot like anything else -- you get used to it, and it works for you, but it doesn't mean there aren't equally as good or even better ones out there. I have wayyyyy too much fun playing with pics and such. You should see our xmas cards over the years. This xmas I made 30-page books for SIL/BIL and us with our Disney pics (made on Shutterfly), with captions, etc. These books are AWESOME. A very nice, hardback keepsake of our trip. SIL and BIL aren't really ones to put their pics into an album, so they really appreciated it. Also made one of all the grandkids at the beach for my MIL -- she absolutely LOVED it. There are lots of great on-line photo sites out there (sony, shutterfly, dotphoto, ofoto, york, etc.) My ds just got a digital camera for his b'day and I hope to get a new one myself for Easter. I guess digital photography is to me what scrapbooking is to others -- to each their obsession!!

Okaaaaaay.....
I can wait, after all, I do have plenty of work to do since I spent all day yesterday reading the reports!

:hourglass :hourglass :hourglass
