UGH!!! This just reminded me I didn't purchase ahead of time. We leave in 6 days. I've never purchased AFTER my trip. Is it possible to wait until we get back and look at the pictures, then see if we think it's worth the cost?

I am not sure about after leaving the park, but in the past on the last day we have stopped at one of the kiosks and looked at everything and decided to purchase.

No. The purchase date of the photopass has to be before the picture taken date.

I'm not sure this is right. If I was a total newbie and didn't know anything about it, how would Disney make any money? I guarantee many people would not know they need to pay $200 before a picture can be taken. I know the photopass photographers give you the pp card right there when they take your first picture if you don't already have one and they don't ask if you've paid $200 already for it.

So, you can pay in advance, at the park or up to 30 days after your vacation. It is the cheapest to pay in advance but is the same price between in the park and after your vacation.

If you purchase the standard CD at the park you will not get to add borders, character signatures, etc. However, the standard CD can be ordered anytime before you leave for your vacation, you receive an email code to redeem your CD online.

Photopass+ should be purchased 14 days in advance however if you forget and purchase it late bring your email confirmation into the park. They will call photopass support to verify and send you off with your + card. Your redemption code will be in the mail by the time you get back from vacation.

To get the discounted price it has to be purchased prior to taking pictures. You can still get pictures take then get the CD but you will pay full price.

I'm trying to do the Photopass (not plus) preorder, and I'm frustrated because even though I've changed my address in my account, it keeps showing my old address as my shipping address in my Photopass order. There's no way to edit it on that screen. Does it matter? Are they actually going to send me something for Photopass? I was under the impression I would be able to just use my MB.

They send a voucher in the mail, which you redeem for a card that is different than those given by the photogs. With MBs they are linked to your bands, but you likely still need the code. As mentioned above, you may be able to use your email code to verify purchase.
You also receive a cd of pictures, of characters, resorts, and parks, with a release to use them. We used them in our Disney photobook purchased through photopass....the best book ever!
